Pros:

Grosses Zimmer und sehr grosses Bett. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und es gab super feines Brot.

Cons:

Die Fenster meines Zimmers waren oberhalb des Hoteleingangs, sowie zur Strasse mit vis à vis einer Bar mit Terrasse. Zum einen haben die Gäste vor dem Hoteleingang geraucht, was dann in meinem Zimmer deutlich riechbar war. Zum andern war der Geräuschpegel mit den Gästen und des Pub's vis à vis doch relativ laut.

Pros:

The room was very spacious and clean, although you could see the age a bit in the furniture and bathroom. The location is perfect and the staff was very friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast had a good selection but for the price, we would have expected more options (some omelette or other warm food).

It was in a good location for where I needed to go.
Room was very spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

The shampoo shower gel was pretty awful.
No need for shoe shine .

Pros:

This was our second visit this year, and we will come again. The hotel provides an excellent access to the hiking paradise of Emmental. Recent renovation of an old building brings a lot of advantages. Room was spacious and well-equipped, with a lot of light and a good view. Very clean. We asked for a quiet room and the one we got was really quiet. Plenty of sockets and a good WiFi - important nowadays. Very helpful staff, speaking very good English.
Hotel's restaurant is a pricy one, but it is worth it. If you need cheaper options, there are several other places around.
Parking lot is so tiny, that the hotel took it off the list of facilities - but it exists and we got a space. Nearby is also a lot of "blue" parking spaces, available for those who come on Saturday night for an one-night stay, and a reasonably-priced P+Rail.

Cons:

We found beds and pillows not comfortable, but it is a matter of taste. Breakfast is below the level of the facility, but in general OK.

Pros:

The room was comfortable, the windows allowed for good air flow for the room to cool off. I had a very comfortable stay

Cons:

The Cafe across the street played super loud music until midnight/0100. The people there were super loud too. That made it hard to fall asleeo

I like the Hotel and like to be back again
Pros:

The hotel was very good, the staff were very excellent. The rooms are clean. And the bed is comfortable.
The area quiet.

Cons:

All was good, breakfast with limited options and need to add some more options.

Cosy hotel and great base for hiking in the Emmental region
Pros:

Good location next to the train station and buses.
Great food, both dinner and snacks(when dinner is not available) are impressive.
Clean and quiet room, coffee machine in room. Cold drinks available in the fridge in the corridor.
Parking right in front of the hotel.

Cons:

The pillow was too high for me.
When a neighbor walks, the floor of my room trembles.

Pros:

Very good hotel in the center of Emmental. Just 5 min from the Langnau train station, providing an excellent access to numerous hiking trails in the region. Wonderful combination of an old building and modern renovation.
Very helpful and welcoming staff.
We had spacious and quiet room on the back side of the building. Good lighting and plenty of well-placed electrical sockets. Nice bathroom with a spacious enough shower cabin. Good quality free WiFi. Good hotel parking.
Breakfast was not outstanding, but perfectly OK for the type of the hotel.
Overall, Price/quality ratio is OK.

Cons:

The hotel failed to report that their restaurant is closed for couple of weeks. This was not visible neither on their website, nor on Booking.com. To be fair, many restaurants nearby are available.
Fruits at the breakfast fruit bowl were not fresh and it seemed like that they were staying there for days, if not weeks.
In both cases not a disaster, but a kind of disrespect to the guests.
Nevertheless, we will be happy to come again.
