Great hotel with great staff
Pros:

How clean room was and the food was delicious. Also the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Old basic hotel with updated bar and dining room
Pros:

Good breakfast and dinner at reasonable price.
Bar & dining room nice.
Bath ....we were walking coastal path.
Good pub over road.
Castle 5 mins walk.
Right on coastal path
Firm comfy bed.

Cons:

Dated room
Tiny tv
While most things were clean in room one or two things were not
Cramped room, small with too much furniture
A bit pricey for the room on offer, but little competition.

Locatie ten opzichte van het treinstation (2 min. lopen) om naar Edinburgh te gaan is uitstekend, in 25 minuten sta je in hartje Edinburgh. Prima uitvalsbasis dus.
Personeel was heel vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam.

Cons:

Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is scheef. Te duur.

Served the purpose
Pros:

historic old hotel; easy driving distance from Edinburgh Airport; friendly staff; EXCELLENT dinner

Cons:

The room- it was located with a door directly outside to the beer garden and had one small window. No air movement. old vinyl sofa, fireplace with a fake electric insert. Thankfully we were there on a Monday night so it wasnt noisy outside our room.

Very expensive ,terrible facilities ...don't bother. The owners are just filling there pockets
Pros:

Staff were good 👍 . No carpark. What had been the carpark had been turned into an outside seating area for food and drinks

Cons:

The hotel is in very poor condition very tired almost held together with chewing gum ..lots of other people making disgruntled noises
