Perfect location to see the beaches and castle with a friendly staff to help in any way.
Pros:

The staff are super friendly and helpful with suggestions
Food was also excellent
In some sort of transition? So maybe understaffed as it can be awhile to get food on occasion

Cons:

Although comfortable, my room was showing signs of wear… carpet, tile grout, bed pleather frame… but it didn’t deter from my stay. My room was above the street which is fairly busy so I’m glad I brought ear plugs for sleep

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

We had to cut trip short as I had thought I had booked a ground floor room due to mums mobility. The staff were unhelpful as their was no lift. We came home 3 hours after arriving as the room was unacceptable. No WiFi in the room and the staff were not very understanding to my elderly mums needs. I explained this to the manager, I emailed also. Have not had a reply I wasn't looking for a full refund but as we had paid for breakfast for 2. I thought they would have at least replied and offered some sort of refund.
I would not go back or recommend the place

A warm welcome, and within minutes walk of the station.
Pros:

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Helpful staff. Very nice evening meal (reasonably priced). Nicely positioned dining area, a level above the pavement, where you could look out.

Cons:

Bathroom could have been cleaner (no cover over sink and there were bits of stuff dropped down there).

Central location in a lovely town
Pros:

Location, staff and the restaurant were all amazing!

Cons:

Our room was absolutely freezing when we went in after dinner. We figured out how to turn on the heat but it took a while!
The only other minor issue was in the morning when the cleaning staff went into the room across the hall and turned up their music really loud and left the door open. We were already awake, but I didn’t appreciate the noise level. I understand that listening to music helps make the cleaning more fun, but at 08:30 on a Sunday morning I would think headphones would have been a more respectful choice.
