Great place to stay
Pros:

Second time I’ve stayed here. My room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Staff are fabulous, so friendly and on the ball. Nice tasty food served in the bar.

Cons:

My room was cold on arrival but a heater soon warmed it up.

Pros:

The team are brilliant - I had a number of issues at different times of the day and every time the reception or porter were superb at remedying the situation; polite and apologetic. Given their response, I would stay at this hotel again.
Delicious home cooked breakfast

Cons:

I was initially in a room that had no heating (turned off) and no hot water (only discovered the following morning when I went to shower), I'm sure as a result of renovations. As such, I'd check both when you check in to make sure you don't have similar issues!

Greats service from staff, rooms needs some TLC.
Pros:

The hotel was the prefect location for the family occasion we were attending.
The service from staff was amazing, all friendly and polite. Good option for food and food was lovely.

Cons:

The rooms were not the cleanest and need a little TLC , cobwebs and on the cold side. We couldn’t get any hot water to shower in the evening, however there was hot water in the morning.

Very small room and very hot, took a while to get it cool enough to sleep. Road noise due to window open

Absolutely terrible
Pros:

Turned up for my booking was told that I didn't have a booking was made to make another booking and pay twice as much as I had paid online when booking to then be asked to leave the hotel 20 mo
Ins later as apparently the room they gave me was already booked out very very poor service

Disappointing overall but staff were pleasant & worked hard.
Pros:

I had a complimentary breakfast which was nice. The location was further away than it appeared from the hospital which I needed to visit several times so I ended up needing a taxi.

Cons:

When I arrived I was given a key to my room only to find someone already in there. Then I was given a little room at the end of the corridor which was directly above the bar & restaurant where there was a celebration going on the first night with loud continuous music. Followed with glass bottles being emptied & smashing into recycling bin. The second night it went on until after midnight & I had very little sleep.on either night. Toilets were poor & few by bedrooms.
