Pros:

We ate in the pub, the food and service were really nice. We had a great evening. The room was large.

Cons:

The hotel is somewhat rundown and not the cleanest. We didn’t enjoy the breakfast

Good value, friendly B&B
Pros:

Manager and staff great and very helpful and all the locals we met were very welcoming. The on-site bar was a lovely mix of guests and locals. Fridge with free bottles of water and essentials (toothbrushes etc) was great idea. Good "pub grub" available (really useful as not much else nearby). Great location - quiet village but short drive to tourism places like Pitlochry.

Cons:

Hotel is old, character property, and for the price we weren't expecting perfection, but a few things need urgent attention. Glass shower panel over bath not attached at top & loose in middle so dangerous and loo seat wrong size & badly fitted. But we told the manager and he said these will be sorted urgently.

Está bien si estás de paso por la zona y necesitas quedarte una noche.

Cons:

En la habitación 4 el baño no estaba muy limpio, había dos moscas muertas en el suelo.
Tampoco teníamos papel de váter y tuvimos que pedirlo.
Tampoco había secador de pelo.
Hay una ventana sin cortina en el baño y desde fuera dónde hay una terraza y mesas te ven directamente en el váter y en la ducha... No hay intimidad en el baño.
También tiré a la papelera bolsitas de leche de cortesía caducadas del año pasado.

Pros:

Value for money - it is located in a small town outside the main roads, so the price is very fair. Also the breakfast was included. Quiet location, nice small town. Pub inside. Parking possible on the street or beside the property.
Room big enough for 3, comfortable beds,
Free water, coffee, tea etc.

Cons:

It is not a 5* hotel, so you should set your expectation accordingly. Carpet in the room should be cleaned. Furniture older but functional. A lot of "cosmetic" issues to be repaired, but nothing serious.

Pros:

Location - excellent. Kirkmichael is a quiet hidden jem.
Hotel is on the main road but it was very quiet. Just saw loads of Swifts (birds).
Lovely drive from Pitlochry (almost no traffic). Saw loads of deer.

Avoid, worst hotel I have enterd in my life

Notre plus grosse déception même si on savait que ca ne serait pas wow!

Bouteille d'eau gratuite et petit déjeuner continental inclus.

Cons:

Vieux et désuet. Lit défoncé, vraiment pas confortable. Moisissure dans la salle de bain. Odeur d'humidité, tapis usé. Ca mériterait plusieurs rénovations. Sur une rue passante, pas de stationnement autre que dans la rue. Pas chère mais ne vaut pas chère non plus.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist eine gute Basis für Ausflüge. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, bequem und ruhig. Im Zimmer und (großen) Badezimmer ist alles blitzsauber. Die Lage direkt an der Strasse ist dennoch sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Das urige Pub darunter tut gut am Abend und ist dennoch auch nicht zu hören. Das Frühstück in Selbstbedienung ist reichlich. Das Personal freundlich. Der Preis ist super. Alles in allem: sehr zu empfehlen!

No sound insulation. Surroundings like an abandoned house. Lots of “repairings” in the room, functional but seemed “work in progress”. No quality breakfast with fresh bread or similar.

Lovely gem of a place
Pros:

Lovely little hotel not far from Pitlochry so great for somewhere to stay nearby. Very clean and very warm welcome by staff and the locals were great. Food was amazing

Pros:

Very friendly staff, rooms of good size and the continental breakfast met the expectations. We appreciated access to water, warm drinks, toothbrushes and likes.

Cons:

The rooms are in need of some quick love/small fixes first and general renovation second. There was no working light in the bathroom, but due to the summer season it was not an issue for us. A general good housekeeping would also help.
