Not as nice as last time

Toilet didn’t flush- had to use the waste bin to fill with water to flush
It briefly flushed twice but the button flush stuck in.
Reported to reception but nothing done. Was stressful. Bath plug broken too

It was great.
Pros:

Great staff. Good food in the evening. Breakfast doesn't start until 08:00, which is too late for me, but the kitchen made me a sandwich to collect early and take with me.

Fine for one night
Pros:

Friendly staff and location. Easy, free parking , beautiful area and a short walk to town. Short drive from new forest

Cons:

Interior needs an update and a good clean. child size veggie breakfast portion and could do with buffet style cereals, toast and juices at breakfast

Comfortable small hotel in great location
Pros:

Great location a short walk from the shops and cafes and directly opposite a footpath into the Forest. Very comfortable clean accommodation. Pretty building and pleasant patio and garden. Pleasant friendly staff.

Cons:

My sister was a bit surprised that the breakfast fruit juice tasted like watery diluting squash.
The staircase with its narrow treads and thick loose carpet took a bit of care to ascend and decend. We are fit and able but it would be hazardous for anyone not so good on their feet.

Pros:

Nice dinner.

Cons:

The room I stayed in had no window in the bedroom, only the sitting area had a window on the wall where I could see only the sky and a metal sheet which was covering outside stairs.
The hotel had a very old times specific smell. Pour lights in the room. If you want to read a book it's too dark.
