El precio de la elaboración de las velas de piedra es muy alto y finalmente en el aeropuerto nos las retuvieron, solo teníamos equipaje de mano.
La cena de fin de año estaba un poquito seca la comida. Por lo demás, le lugar es precioso, seguro, y pacífico.

There should be a "Warning sign" for the Cascade Walk since it is not for everybody.

Las Cuevas more than made up for the challenging drive! The history of the engineer that started this location has been well preserved by his family and the staff, and invokes visitors to be curious and adventurous when discovering all there is offered here. We loved the educational and delicious wine with cheese pairing led by one of the chefs. We could not have had a more perfect day for horse riding in the Andes with Jaime - what stunning views! Every meal was a delicious delight. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with everything available and will definitely return!
The road getting there was quite treacherous, made worse by some local construction and rainy weather.
This place is amazing. It is very family-friendly, with lots for kids to do and explore. We stayed in the family room, which was very spacious and comfortable for us. There are many activities available and all were fun. Some of the things we enjoyed were a difficult hike, a night walk, beer and chocolate tastings, wine and cheese tastings, and candle making. The food is fantastic. The fireplaces are lit in the evening and our family loved sitting in front of the fire.
The staff was incredible. Friendly, responsive and very kind. The room was incredible, and the surrounding property was beautiful. Take the guided hike! It's a challenging hike but very rewarding!
The road to and from the hotel, while I found it fun and part of the adventure, is for sure challenging. It requires some clearance on the vehicle and an experienced off road driver.
Beautiful and interesting architecture. Fabulous service by staff especially Manuel who provided us with superb meals and made everything run so smoothly. Handy for the airport and a relaxing place to stay.

Absolutely amazing stay. Unlike any hotel I have visited before with a fascinating back story. We loved wandering the grounds and exploring the hotel. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating, and they offered many activities. We did the cave tour (a must!), the beer and chocolate tasting, the long trail walk, a horseback ride, and a night hike. The food was phenomenal, and they catered to our vegetarian diet. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. More people need to be visiting this gem.

Get the instructions how to get there in order, google maps or wase, did send us in wrong directions, to be solved, but still deserve 10/10
The Hacienda Lodge was a once in a lifetime opportunity for us, we were absolutely thrilled to spend our time there. The hummingbirds buzzed around, walking/hiking trails easily accessible, the lodge itself was built many years ago by hand, dug into the mountain side with beautiful cave rooms that have been expanded with an indoor balcony. Extremely clean and well maintained. Beer/Chocolate tasting and Wine/Cheese tasting was fantastic. Thank you Manuel for making this such a memorable experience, you were so knowledgeable and passionate. Don’t miss out!!! BOOK IT!
