Boardwalk itself has no renovations and its full range of services and facilities are available however, during work hours there may be various levels of inconvenience and the resort will do all possible to minimize this.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

Pros:

Very close in location witch was a drawing card for myself and my partner great gym and pool

Cons:

On our floor we did have renovations happening while I understand you have to keep maintenance to the hotel was just annoying with some of the machines

Location was ideal. Room was not up to standard.
Pros:

Great location only 5-10 minute walk into the centre of burleigh. The beach is across the road and the facilities in the complex (gym, pool and spa) were great. We were also able to make use of the pool for the remainder of the day after checkout.

Cons:

The room was a complete let down, especially for what we had paid. The apartment was not very clean, so much so we had to ask for the cleaners to return. It is like the apartment had a very minimal service clean. The staff at reception were helpful and accomdating our requests. Some additional insights: the safe was broken (whilst the staff offered the one in the office they reception hours were limited. They did get a brand new safe delivered the following day). On the second night under the desk we found a ladies lacey top from someone elses stay (gross). The bathrooms were not very clean and there was mould on the floor tiles and soap scum on the shower screens. The couches and carpets were stained and marked. Whilst I understand it is hard to keep a balcony clean right next to the beach the glass and floor had not been cleaned for some time. There was a horrible smell coming out of the fridge and when we arrived in the room for the first 2 days there was a smell as if someone had left a dirty babies nappy in the apartment. It is disappointing as we have stayed previously (but in an AirBnb and had a great time) but this experience was not enjoyable.

Beautiful views and stunning apartment.
Pros:

Modern and clean with everything you would need for your stay. Lovely pool area and reception kindly provided pool towels to use during our stay.

Cons:

Not the property’s fault but the overnight ongoing tram building works were very, very noisy (even on the top floor) and you could feel vibrations from the work. This resulted in a disturbed sleep. We were not advised in advance of this planned ongoing work. This is the only reason we have marked our stay as a 7. If no works had been going on then a 10 as the apartment was stunning and staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Bed was insanely hard. Blinds in bedroom were not up to the job of keeping out light and windows are single glazed.

Excellent location with quick access to the beach.

Cons:

Very nice pool area, however, as there were limited sun coverings and the sunbeds were placed directly in the sunlight, we were not able to enjoy relaxing poolside as we had originally planned.

The facilities are a little dated, and the bathroom could benefit from a thorough deep clean.
