It was a unique environment . The staff and breakfast were friendly and very helpful! The rooms were nothing fancy but very functional and clean!

Amazing and unique place with phenomenal hospitality. Highly recommend staying here. Room was very very warm and I couldn’t turn down the radiator. But amazing and so so friendly.

Superbe séjour. Lieu à l’écart mais une fois que nous y sommes c’est super ! Le personnel a été très à l’écoute et très bienveillant (vis à vis de notre handicap) à faire des efforts pour nous. Lieu propre, agréable, bon petit déjeuner. Et bon restaurant sur place. La localisation permet de visiter plusieurs endroits à proximité (même si il faut être véhiculé bien sûr). Si nous devons repasser dans la région sur que nous reviendrons.

Ok for one night, but no air con and a bit basic in terms of accommodation but airfield location is different experience if you need it.

Great spot. We spent the afternoon watching microlights landing and an old plane circling. Brilliant!
The people were great. Breakfast was good. The restaurant was closed when we were there, but we found a great seafood place in the nearby town.

This is a unique and lovely motel next to a small aerodrome. The staff are very friendly and rooms super neat.

Great overnight stop after a late afternoon train from Folkestone.
Plenty of free parking on site.
Room are basic but perfectly adequate for a night stop on route to Southern France.
Has a kettle and tea and coffee facilities.
Nice seating area both inside and out for an evening drink.
Had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and well priced. The bar staff and waitress were attentive and engaging.
Good night sleep before heading off for an early start so cannot comment on the breakfast.
Would definitely stay here again.

This was fine for a stopover on our way further in to France. The staff were friendly, spoke English. The room was fine for one night, the breakfast was limited to bread, pastries, fruit and yoghurt, which was fine for us.

Such an unusual hotel. What a wonderfully warm welcome even though we arrived about an hour earlier than the advised check-in time. Beautifully clean rooms. Compact but everything you could possibly need. The only disappointment was the bar and restaurant beong closed on our visit (Monday). Apparently this is the case on Sundays and Mondays although that was not clearly advertised on the site I booked through. Would still highly recommend.

We enjoyed one night here. They fed us upon arriving at 8:30 in the evening, as well, as a basic continental breakfast in the morning. Best yogurt I believe I’ve ever had. Did not notice noisy planes at all. No black out curtains and windows face the rising sun. Enjoyed a morning of a hot air balloon taking off. Nice folks here. Good travel stop.

My husband, myself and our two dogs had a very one night pleasant stay. We like that we can park directly outside our room which was clean and the bed comfortable. The restaurant serves good food and both the host and the restaurant guy are very friendly.
We have stayed in this hotel previously on our way to Spain and will do so again - highly recommended.

Accommodation clean but basic

The room was clean, well equpped with an excellent shower room. View was over the old airfield. Convenient for the restaurant, but unfortunately the range of food and the quality of of food was very disappointing. The breakfast was particulary poor. Would stay there again but exclude breakfast and eat elsewhere.

Good overnight stop for an early ferry or late arrival in France as it is 1 hour from Calais.
Quirky location on a private airport.

Good staff, clean and bright rooms.
I would stay again.

Good food in the on site restaurant.

Convenient stopover en route home. Staff friendly, bed comfy and food delicious
