Perfect for our one night stay in a v pretty location for a wedding at Cowdray Walled
Pros:

Breakfast was great. Location ideal for a wedding at Cowdray Walled Garden. Staff super friendly & let us have an early check in to get ready.

Cons:

Parking a bit tricky but we found somewhere on the road. It’s a pub so a little noisy plus a fair few fast cars seem to use the route there as a race track!

Nice bedrooms and staff, but the bed was too short with the wooden frame.
Pros:

Location and nice bedroom.

Cons:

The bed had a wooden board at the end. As a tall person this was too short for me and led me to have a bad nights sleep. I was not able to straighten my legs and be comfortable. The hotel does not have a lounge to use, but you have to share the pub downstairs which can be noisy. Breakfast is offered at a nearby café. The staff behind the BAR were friendly and attractive.

Would stay again but in a different suite.
Pros:

Very accommodating, clean, friendly and had everything we needed.
We were able to park right to property but free parking is limited.
Breakfast was EXCELLENT, top quality and cooked well.

Cons:

The only drawback was the bath and shower head, the water pressure was a bit rubbish! We had the roll top bath room which we had to pay extra for and was not very usable.

Overall, perfect for my overnight stay for Goodwood.
Pros:

Great location to stay for Goodwood events. Didn't eat at the restaurant but the bar was great. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Check-in was painless, even when arriving later in the evening when the pub was busy.

Cons:

The electric shower in the en-suite had low water pressure and was a bit tricky to get the temperature right, either boiling hot or stone cold! Also, room was a little on the cold side. Room had a radiator but I couldn't see any heating controls so probably just me not looking hard enough!

Absolutely superb place to stay, great base for walking the South Downs
Pros:

Suberb hitoric building in the sublime historic middle of Midhurst. This ancient building is a delight. There was ample outside seating to enjoy the Spring sunshine. Great range of beers and ales. Their cocktails are all expertly mixed. There are only a few rooms, but all are very nicely furnished, very clean, warm and supremely comfortable. There are five or six options for the breakfast (included in room price). We both had the Swan Breakfast, essentially a full English, all freshly prepared and expertly cooked. The level of service is excellent, even when the pub was busy, it didnt take long for one of the staff to come over and offer service. We really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended

Cons:

This place is pretty much faultless. My only very minor gripe is that the window in our room wouldn't open.
