The Marquette Hotel

The Williams Street area is our favorite. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Check-in was easy, even though there is no staff present. Beds were comfortable. We stayed here for a concert at the Sylvee. It was about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel is a great alternative if the hotels closer to the Sylvee are too pricey.

It it clean and a big room. No staff on the premise which was fine. The restaurant below was closed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the AC unit was very loud. I had to turn it off to sleep.

It was a very clean room! Spacious too in a cute neighborhood.

I was initially nervous when I read that the hotel did not have their own parking area, but it was super easy to find spaces on the street, right in front of the property. The check-in process was simple — I received a text with the access code and I was able to get in without any problems or fuss. The room was spacious and clean and had everything I needed. I will definitely book again.

Loved the self check-in. Did have to park a block away, but not terrible. Rooms were clean and bathrooms are spacious. A quaint hotel and overall a good experience!

Simple check in and clean place. Very centrally located to everything and steps away to the Willy St Co-op. Walkable and bikable to many areas.

I was slightly taken aback that there is no reception area, but I did have a door code. The room was clean, and the bed comfy. I slept great.

Easy and convenient

We stayed in the ground floor unit in the back, designed for accessible travelers so quite roomy. It was clean, basic, and comfortable. There was some early morning street noise, not the hotel's fault, otherwise we slept fine. Never saw a human, but we didn't need any assistance. No frills, great location for us, a good value.

The hotel is clean and the staff is excellent. Had a few questions and they always had a quick response. The rooms are clean. The cafe downstairs is amazing and beautiful. Great quiet neighborhood

It was fine. Very clean. We needed ice so that was not available. The beds were awesome. Information stated 10 minutes to Breese Stevens but it was actually 20 minutes.

The hotel is well located, good price, it is clean and spacious, miss not having an elevator. Parking was something that was a sock, on the hotel’s description said there was a parking, but only on the street. It is close to the capitol and easy drive.

This worked great. A nice neighborhood to walk around, with a cafe downstairs and the food coop next door. It's the opposite side of town from the university, but the conference center and business center is 1.3 miles (a 25-minute walk), and for those on public transit, there's a bus stop just outside the door.

I really liked this property. Very clean and so close to the heart of Madison.
