Good location, if you want no frills this will suite you, but not cheap.
Pros:

The room was large with everything needed, one street back from the main shopping strip. Close to pubs and restaurants. The bathroom was a huge with a walk-in shower/wet room. Very deceiving from the location and front of the building.

Cons:

This is not what I thought it would be, the rooms are in a laneway beside the pub and the bottle shop is what you are looking at. No pools, nothing to write home about, but the location was good.

Great Location to both train and bus and main street
Pros:

Location, plenty of room, renovated bathroom, shower excellent

Cons:

bed on rollers so moved a little and no outdoor light over the stairs to the upper level where our room was. Made it unsafe checking in with luggage at night.

Pros:

The location is very central.

Cons:

For the most expensive motel that we booked in western Queensland, the setting is most unattractive. One of the promoted popular facilities is "free parking" which I thought would be mandatory in Longreach. It is actually the bare dirt adjacent block which provides the view from the outdoor setting. There is one outdoor setting to service the four rooms so it is a case of first in - best dressed.

EXcellent spot for a short stay in Longreach
Pros:

Excellent location in the centre of shopping centre.
Make sure you have morning coffee at the Vault across the main street from the motel.

Cons:

All the drawers in the room were screwed closed so could not be used ???
The hotel bar area is very uninviting with pallets and boxes of booze stacked around it.
The window curtains in the room of my travel companion were old and let light in. My room had much better roller blinds.

My room was very basic but clean and comfortable

Pros:

The bed was very comfortable and the room had a lovely updated bathroom. Located in the main street so very close to eating venues etc.

Cons:

The room was very dark and stuffy as it faced onto a passage way. There was minimal street noise but you could hear other guests easily.
