Clean and comfy but noisy.
Pros:

The location was great, right in the middle of town & within walking distance of the local club and a pub for dinner. A laundromat down the road. There is a bar attached to the motel for those who enjoy a drink. Bed was comfy, shower hot. Plenty of room. We were given a ground floor room as requested. A/c kept the room nice and cool. Overall clean and comfy. The local Merino bakery is awesome.

Cons:

Had to get the room keys from the bar staff. Our room was just next to the stairwell and adjacent to the carpark, so could hear people going up & down all night. The kitchen are was very small and not planned well. Ants around the bin. A bit dated, could use a small table & chairs to sit down.

A fresh breath of the past.
Pros:

The rustic style inside and out and the attention to detail.

Cons:

A little dark on the inside. Perhaps a chord attached to the bottom of the canvass shade, top or bottom, on the window. Same as bathroom curtain.

The room was brand new however there was nowhere to hang your clothes, no hooks in the bathroom for your towel or a hand towel, the walk in shower was lovely but turning the water on full bore sent water all over the bathroom not a dry spot to be had then. The convenience of the location was wonderful close to coffee shops and great restaurants.

Cons:

No where to hang your clothes, towels etc was challenging, bathroom needs work. Every time you used the bathroom to clean your teeth, was your hands you got a very noisy exhaust fan which was so unnecessary. A light switch and the exhaust fan separate would have been good.

Best value central accommodation in an expensive Outback town.
Pros:

Located close to CBD and railway station, large room, wonderful wet room bathroom. Good aircon and shower in searing heat.

Cons:

No hangers for railing provided and only one hook for clothes. Drawers glued shut. No coat hooks in bathroom. Bed too soft but that’s a personal preference. Friendly downstairs pub bar.
