Hôtel très agréable, personnel super agréable et au petit soin. Niveau propreté rien à dire c'était niquel. Chambre très agréable. Proche de la mer et des commerces et restaurants.

Cons:

Le seul point négatif l'isolation sonore de la rue, après avec les boules quies ça passe.

Tout est parfait. Le personnel, la modernité des équipements, la qualité exceptionnelle du matelas, la très grande variété de produits proposés au petit-déjeuner (pains divers, nombreuses viennoiseries, charcuteries, fromages extra, confitures délicieuses etc ...)

Cons:

Grand choix de produits au petit déjeuner, ce qui justifie son prix.

Beautifully designed and spotlessly clean hotel. The owner was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. Our three-bedroom room was very spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Do youself a big favor and stay here.
Pros:

I'm delighted to rave about the three nights my wife and I experienced in this small hotel. Rooms are immaculate, calm, thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, and sufficiently spacious. We were there in the midst of a record-blasting heatwave, but electric fans in rooms at this hotel, which is less than one block from the cooling breezes of the English Channel, kept us comfortable. Kind and intelligent interactions with the charming husband-and-wife team operating, cleaning, and living in the place were an absolute bonus. These people were intensely helpful and welcoming. Houlgate is wonderful little old resort, with plenty of interesting fin-de-siècle buildings, but also with manageable free parking and, I believe, lower prices than nearby cities like Cabourg, Trouville, Deauville. We had numerous fabulous and reasonably priced meals there and in Dives-sur-Mer, just down the road. We had booked two nights there, but extended our visit for a third night. Our first two nights were in a street-facing room in the old part of the building. The third night was in one of the newer rooms behind the terrace. The rooms are quite similar -- almost identical -- in most respects. The larger shower in the terrace room and paucity of street noise made up for the lack of an elevator and impressive staircase.
