Glad we only had one night here.
Pros:

Room was clean and the building has very secure underground parking with a lift from the car park directly to the floors with rooms above.

Cons:

No kettle or tea making facilities in the room. You have to go downstairs and request hot water (which was actually only warm, not hot) from a disinterested man at reception. 100% polyester sheets on the bed, firm mattress. No WIFI that we were informed of and only Italian on the TV. Air-conditioning was noisy, but cooled reasonably well. Breakfast basic. Area around the hotel felt scruffy.

A hidden gem near Napoli
Pros:

I sincerely enjoyed my stay at Hotel Maddaloni. Everyone on staff was friendly, helpful, and always accommodating. The room and surrounding grounds were immaculate. In fact, I took advantage of my room’s large balcony and inspiring views by sitting outside and writing. While being close to an expressway (perfect for those with a car), the hotel is especially quiet. There’s a market within walking distance and the train/bus station is just a 15-minute drive away. The free breakfast was always tasty and a great start to a busy day of exploring. One evening, I wanted pizza and the concierge graciously ordered one for me from a nearby pizzeria and delivered it to my room. Overall, I have awesome memories of my stay and would encourage anyone looking for a quiet getaway near Napoli to consider Hotel Maddaloni.
