Hotel Alta Vista

Nous avons passé deux bonnes nuits dans cet Hôtel. Des chambres propres, soignées et très spacieuses et avec balcon. l'accès à l'hotel est très pentu. A quelques dizaines de mettres du coeur actif de la ville une demi heure de marche du sentier qui mene au sommet du Little Adams peak. L'acceuil est trés sympathique.

Very conveniently located in Ella. Close to all the famous attractions and the hotel staff are very hospitable. Highly recommended.

We just stayed for 1 night. We enjoyed it. The room was spacious and we slept very well. The manager was friendly and helpful and we liked the breakfast with a lot of fruits.
100 meters downhill from the hotel was the main street with shops and restaurants. The famous Chill Out Cafe restaurant was very close.
We want to recommend the hotel.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were great. The only drawback is the steep climb to the hotel.it is in the center of town and you can walk to restaurants, shopping and bars. The chef made food packages to take on the train trip- which was lovely.

Hotel is in a great location in main street of Ella but only if you can walk up extremely steep driveway from the street. Staff friendly and helpful, great breakfast, but hotel could do with a couple of of improvements. A small fridge with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer in room, new bedding, including sheets and pillows, more than one towel each.

We stay group 18 person 2 nights. Enjoy our stay We get anything where we ask from the staff in a hotel. Very helpful hotel is on a steep hill. If you have problem to walk, this hotel is not for you. Hotels is in centre Ella, you just Down steep small road A unit centre of the highest street with clubs bus and shops. Good Breakfast.

Schöne Aussichtszimmer, geräumig. Großzügiges Frühstück. Freundliches Personal. Die Moskitoblutflecken an der Wand könnten mal überstrichen werden und gewurmt hat mich Dass Sie mich bei der Abreise doppelt und überhöht ab kassieren wollten.

街の真ん中で便利でした。駅からもバス停からも歩いて行けます。宿のご主人も親切でした。最上階は眺めも良い。

Staffs are very rude. They said they gonna help with the luggages then they left a bag on the whole way. And they demanded to pay 8000 rupees in cash to stay. We paid because we were tired and didn’t wanna go and look for an another hotel

It might not look like much, but we had a good time staying. Close to the main street but up a hill so the parties didn't bother. Room was clean and the bed was good. What made the stay a joy in particular was the great breakfast and the absolute friendliness and kindness of the owners. Definitely recommended.

Clean, basic accommodations, friendly staff, not much English , wifi in lobby works fine but wifi in room is pretty much non existent it’s super slow. Never could get it to work enough to even check my email.
The walk up the driveway is super steep and very dangerous particularly when wet outside. Even for hiking standards, there is very little grip to be had on walking surface. It is quite lengthy also.
We stayed a few hours. Restaurant was closed. No amenities to speak of.
We stayed in the “luxury room with AC” on top floor. Nice and relatively quiet considering the little town is quite the party atmosphere.

Great location with views of the town. Comfy beds and large rooms! Big outside patio area which was great to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks. Walk up the hill to the hotel is fine. Great water pressure in yhe shower.

Room was clean when we arrived but had mosquitoes / houseflies. There was no housekeeping and no in-house restaurant. Wifi was okay and there are food places nearby

Would be a totally decent place if they provided mosquito nets. Nothing quite like getting chewed up all night when you need a good night's rest. Everything else about the place is nice and passable.

Good location

Great place! Spacious room with an amazing balcony overlooking the green mountains. Just like living in a picture! Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, very diverse and tasty. Great location: main street below where you can find good restaurants, bars and shops. But as the place is higher than the street - it is also very quiet. Only point to consider: you have to climb from the street in order to get to the hotel. But was not an issue for us especially compared to all activities in this hill country.

Spacious and clean rooms. No seating facility inside room as mentioned. No coffee or milk available in room it was only couple of tea bags. Allowed us a late checkout which was great but very basic. A bed and breakfast/ guest house than a hotel
