Impiana Private Villas Cemagi

We had a perfect stay here. The location is just a dream and perfect to calm down and relax. It is very quiet, extraordinary beautiful and with a lovingly tended garden and a large pool.
The view to the sea is breathtaking (sunsets included) and Ari and her team were the most lovely host and stuff we ever had. Hope to come back some day.

This is a spectacular and unique venue with beautiful gardens. It overlooks the ocean and a temple on a small pier - and the sunsets are gorgeous.

My wife and I were married here in January 2020. We could not have asked for a more picturesque and private location in Bali. We also had my 40th birthday party here over the same weekend. The large grounds and infinity pool are perfect for events - we had around 75pax, and I’d expect 100pax could be manageable (with portaloos!).

Having all 6 of the villas within Impiana gave us the venue to ourselves. We had the privacy to relax with the grandeur of some of the nicest hotels in Bali.

The staff are typically geared around catering for the villa capacity (14 pax). Outside of the catered events, we had quite a few extras drop in guests over the 5 days we stayed at Impiana and it was difficult for the staff to keep up with meal requests. Planning and early communication is essential to allow them to add on staff as they are only small team. The villa manager, Ari, is extremely helpful and did a great job keeping up with our requirements.

We outsourced the catering for our wedding as Impiana Cemagi had a limited track record of wedding events and communications were challenging during management handover. However I understand Impiana have managed several weddings themselves now and are probably much better prepared.

With the privacy and isolation comes some logistical challenges. Shops are not especially close. Gojek/Grab are difficult to get out that far. Food delivery is also challenging. I would certainly plan to have a driver or two on standby for errands and events and to have your own transport for trips away from the villa.

While a hotel in a central location has more convenience; the privacy, intimacy and beauty of Cemagi Impiana makes the downsides seem trivial.

We spent two nights in this lovely and quiet hôtel. The view on the sea is great. The sunset is amazing. The team is fantastic always here to help you. Definetly a place to stay for a good time in Changgu

Great location and fantastic stay in a little paradise with extremely friendly helpful and fantastic staff. Ari the hotel manageress organised day trips and was always there for us. Absolutely perfect. The chef prepared every day a very delicious breakfast and dinner and the last evening an outstanding Barbecue for us. Great

The Villa is outstanding, with great location and magical views, and the service was really friendly which made our stay very pleasant and unforgettable.

We’re simply wowed by the exceptional sea view this villa offers. A great estate for a family vacation with entertainment rooms for family with kids. We certainly enjoyed the lush garden and sizeable pools for a morning swim or just to sunbath under the tropical sun. The staffs were very warm and ready to accommodate our requests. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

We stayed at these villas for 6 nights and it was just wonderful. The rooms are all stunning and the grounds immaculate. We were amazed to have so much available for us to do, from the games room, the tennis court and the superb infinity pool. The views from the top pagoda are breathtaking and we enjoyed many a sunset evening from that lovely spot, with wine and even a barbeque.
The staff, led by the wonderful Ari, make the place really special. They are attentive and friendly but never obtrusive. We enjoyed splendid breakfasts and stayed in for a few evening meals too, all prepared by the fabulous Chef Kenny.
The location is remote but Ari organised drivers so we could explore Bali and pop in to Canggu for a spot of shopping or an evening meal. She also organised massages for some of us at the villa and even a cookery lesson where we prepared our own Balinese lunch.

One touching moment was when Ari and the team spotted that my daughter had celebrated her birthday a few days before we arrived. They decorated the main pagoda with handmade garlands and brought a cake out for her - genuine warmth and hospitality.

We were originally supposed to be staying at the Impiana Seminyak but ended up here because of a booking error by our travel agent. What a lucky mistake !

We can’t be more grateful to have encountered this breathtaking place to held our wedding. The place is perfect for intimate wedding with the Hindu temple and ocean as a background. They have beatiful porch overlooking the volcanic rock where you can sit and enjoy the sunset. We can’t thank enough Mba Santi and all the staffs for being very helpful and accomodating. We will definitely come back again to this villa to celebrate another special moments in our lives.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful resort. I spent days just sitting at the gazebo up a small hilly patch of garden, facing the ocean, just reading and watching the sea.
We stayed in Joglo, and it had a big bed that I slept soundly on every night.
Ari, our host helped me arranged a massage and transport so all our needs were met.
I am already planning to come back. I miss this place already.

Were there for 3 nights. Location, scenery, rooms etc. are amazing. Our host Ari was supporting us a lot such as organizing scooters. Location bit outside of Canggu is great - one can get there either by hotel shuttle or, even better, by scooter. Hotel is very quiet, no annoying noises during the night. And the garden is just awesome :)
Only the service at the small restaurant and pool site should be improved. We always had to look for somebody instead of someone just being there for service.
Overall recommendation for this hotel.

Cannot rate this place highly enough. From the wonderful Miss Ari who runs the place, to the fantastic house with out-doors bathroom, grounds, staff, infinity pool, Eggs Benedict for breakfast, massage overlooking the sea. All of it is totally amazing. We are already planning our return visit, I actually wept when we drove away!

In connection with a city trip (Kuala Lumpur, Singapore), we finally looked for a week to a haven of peace in Bali. By staying at Impiana Private Villas Cemagi we have found exactly this place that has given us the hoped-for relaxation, tranquility and strength associated with land and people. An unforgettable stay in the country-typical, very exclusive villas and the dreamlike ambience of the entire area and the garden. The location of Impiana Private Villas Cemagi is right on the sea and away from the hustle and bustle, noise and traffic and a unique oasis of relaxation. All staff are friendly, very courteous and helpful and do everything to make us as a guest the feeling of a true "luxury vacation". The food offered in the evening were very balanced and tasty. We have traveled a lot in the world and have always put emphasis on comfort and quality - but we have never experienced such a thing. For us a real dream vacation combined with the wish to enjoy it again. The paradise in Bali.

Living in Seminyak you often need a place to escape the constant noise and crowds.
Just 30 minutes away lies green rice fields and empty beaches.
The villa resort was very charming, comfortable and quiet.
Spacious rooms and beautiful (very beautiful) gardens plus attentive and kind staff.
I booked via hotels.com as a last minute escape and will certainly return for some R&R again soon.

Hidden gem best describes the Villa. As a party of 12, we stayed 10 wonderful nights. Fantastic service - nothing too much trouble. The staff were very discerning of our needs and so gracious. It is such a peaceful location - so relaxing. Beautiful sunsets over the amazing infinity pool. I've never been so at rest. A wonderful experience and happy to return!

I went this hotel to spent my honeymoon. It was amazing place. I have traveled lot but this is one of my favorite. We had private villa. My wife love to stay calm and relax. We enjoy lot. They arranged special amenities for us. Thank you so much. I really wanted to stay ever. ❤️

Impiana Cemagi is such a beautiful villa – both the gardens and the views are incredible. We had an amazing time watching the sunset over the ocean from the sunset bale on right over the beach.

I love that the villa has the real feel of Bali with thatched roof pavilions and open-plan living areas. Everything is immaculately well maintained with a small army of staff looking after every little detail. This villa has everything you could ask for, including two pools and two pianos!

Finally, there’s the staff. Villa manager Maya could not have been more gracious and the whole team looked after us so well it really was hard leaving this beautiful place and returning to reality. Amazing experience from start to finish!

What a beautiful property and such a hidden gem in Bali. Garden is well maintained and the staff is one of the highlight during our stay. Everyone is so welcome and doing their very best to accommodate our request.

The meal prepared by the chef is so delicious and don't forget to watch the breathtaking Bali sunset!

Arrive in the villa and straight away going to the open plan living area, there we can enjoy the wonderful sunset. Big garden is the best part of this villa where you can feel the clean air and chill out with all family. The staff service is amazing, all under control by Maya the Villa Manager. Cemagi is not really far from attractive area, it's around 15 minutes drive to Echo Beach and around 25 minutes until 30 minutes drive to Seminyak.
Really recommended to stay in this great villa.
