Akin Suites Istanbul

Great location - only a 7 min walk to the Kadikoy metro/ferry terminal that will take you all over the city.

The street the hotel is located on is a bit rundown, but don't let that scare you. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. We reserved a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious.

Firstly I should mention that hotel staffs were really helpful and careful. They solved most of our problems quite promptly and took fast action. Our additional requests such as 30min. late check-out and baggage drop after check out were approved. However facility itself has lots of problem. In our first room at first night were cold, and bedroom window frame was broken therefore huge amount of wind and all noises from the street were directly coming in. We couldn't sleep at all and it was freezing. Another experienced staff repaired the window in the morning. There weren't how water both during the night and in morning. They offered room change. But it was not possible until 14:00. They let us use another empty room's shower. New room was cold as well but there was hot water. Sound isolation was quite bad. Heater and AC at the upstairs were running really loud. Staff solved AC noise. Besides neighboring car washing service was creating terrible noise. You cannot sleep/rest during the day time. You could hear every noise made in upstairs and downstairs and next room. Not comfortable at all. Bathroom were not much clean and hair/body hair residue were present in the shower, hair-dryer, in some parts of the room from previous guests. A small piece of metal shred left in the entrance pricked into my foot and created small injury. A quick but detailed vacuum cleaning should have cleaned this small piece. No bottled water available in room, not even for a fee.

It was conveniently located near the port so easy access to the European side of Istanbul, but there are no bars, restaurants,etc. that you would want to visit that are near the hotel.

5泊しましたが一度もベットメーキングや部屋の掃除、ごみ箱のごみ捨てがありませんでした。
契約では毎日ハウスクリーニングがあると記載されていました。
ごも箱のごみは仕方なく自分でフロントに毎朝届けていました。
シャワーの温度の調節が難しく高温か低温で風邪を引いてしまいました。
またシャワーの水量がすごく低いです。
そしてシャワールームの水がトイレの板の間に染み出していました。

there were some bugs and insects in the bedroom and we have been bitten in the bed many times. but generally speaking the hotel was so good. it has polite and nice staff, and perfect location

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr nett. Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal. Sehr nah zur Fähre. Der Stadtteil Kadiköy ist sehenswert, teilweise historisch, aber auch hip und cool. Sehr schöne Locations zum Essen und gemütlich sitzen. Die kulinarischen Angebote sind so verlockend, dass zusätzliche Pfunde nicht auszuschließen sind.

Хороший семейный отель. Дружелюбный персонал. В следующий приезд обязательно здесь остановимся!

Good location, big and comfortable, every thing was privided in the kitchen.
We had a minor problem with a shower pannel and was sorted inmidiately.
Defenitvely I will recomend this appartment

Gayet güzel makul fiyata kalınabilecek rahat temiz ortamlı iyi bir otel

Berbat bir otel. İlk girdiğinizde sizi süslü bir lobi karşılıyor ancak aldanmayın. Temizlik sıfır. Klozetin üzerinde pislikler vardı. Havluların renkleri bozarmış kirini temizini ayırt edemiyorsunuz. Güya açıkbüfe kahvaltısı var ama olmasa daha iyi hiç olmazsa kahvaltı var diye güvenip o saatte kalkmazsınız. Mutfak gereçleri keş gibi lekeli. Ertesi gün odanın temizlenmesini özellikle rica ettiğim halde içeri girilip sadece yatağın üstünü örtmüşle klozete çamaşırsuyu bile sürmemişlerdi. Personel gıcıklıktan ölecek. Kesinlikle bu puanları hak etmiyorlar.

Très bon séjour, hôtel très bien placé dans le quartier animé de Kadikoy ( magasin, restaurant, café, bar, ....) et de tous les transports en commun, pour week-end shopping, à refaire très bientôt

The Appartment 18 looked well on the photos but was not clean and specially the bathroom was very bad maintained. The toilet was shaky and about to break. Overall you did not feel comfortable couse on the second view was not clean.

Stylish and well presented accommodation, staff in particular were very helpful and most could communicate in English. The free breakfast was same every day and very basic, however the area surrounded by lots of lovely cafes and eating places.

Three minor issues, the air conditioner could not be regulated, the shower also was difficult to regulate and the drain seemed blocked. Lastly the toilet seat in one of the deluxe suites needs attention.

Never the less the Akin suites is a great place to stay, so highly recommended

To be honest the suites are ok and spacious. Everything worked as it should and was located off the main road with shops and restaurants within walking distance. I would rather prefer to stay on the European side as suppose to the Asian side of Turkey that’s where we spent most of our time. We did enjoy jumping on the ferry and crossing only took 15 mins. People can’t speak English and that I found bit fustrating given that a lot of tourist visit here. Overall it was ok and safe to stay.

Place is well equipped and nicely decorated.
Location is very convenient located for all transport.
Lively area with plenty things to explore.
Staff was very helpful and all was working perfectly. Wifi was very good.
Kitchen well equipped.
I will definitely stay again
