Great area, very clean and friendly team members
The shower water pressure was minimal and the mattress was too hard for me
It really was a fab hotel, great value for money, fab service from all staff and great views of the black mountains from our room and the bar terrace.
It is an older style hotel but that added to the character for us. We had been on an experience day at a blacksmiths forge and it was great to have fellow guest who shared it with us too.

Location was great with beautiful view from bedroom window and dining area. On main road but no traffic noise. Big parking area, safe and outside hotel.
Decor a bit dated and tired in some places. Long ish walk from reception to my upstairs room. No offer of help with bags. No staff obviously around to ask.
The location is stunning, and the room was really well equipped even a decent hair dryer. The bathroom was clean and well equipped.Staff were friendly and obliging
The floors must be quite thin as we had a very interrupted nights sleep due to the people I the room above walking backwards and forwards to the bathroom while possibly wearing clogs. At least that’s what it sounded like. Not the hotels fault just inconsiderate guests. Also I think they had a domestic dispute.

On Tuesday there was an unpleasant odour of cat food in my room near the window and outside on the parking space. Breakfast buffet is bit modest, limited just to flakes, yoghurt and toast with jam - wish they had more fruits.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very pleasant and caring.The.food menu was varied and exceptional in taste and presentation.. The bedroom was large and airy with all the facilities and stunning views.I will definitely be returning to this hotel and I can fully recommend it.
