Beautiful location with stunning views, superb food in the restaurant at very reasonable prices, quiet, comfortable and spacious family room at extremely reasonable price as my son stated for free! We will definitely be back 😄
Nothing bad to report. Really lovely stay. If I was going to be picky the only thing I noticed was the size of the towels which were fine for me but anyone larger than 5ft might have struggled.
Nice staff, wonderful views
A wee bit shabby
Zeer vriendelijk personeel lekker eten mooi uitzicht aan de achterzijde grote parking
Bij het ontbijt was het spek en worst te droog en te taai kwam toch wel vers uit de keuken

A good car park out front. Friendly staff. A spacious room. Pleasing outlook from the rear of the hotel.
Decor a bit of a mixture of styles - predominantly 70's/80's wood veneer.
Sanitary fittings tired and in need of an update. Lighting a bit on the dim side.
Bathroom mobility aids (in an upstairs room accessed by staircase) somewhat intrusive.
Staff were friendly and supportive .they reached out to ensure if we need diner we didnt miss it. the rooms were beautful and penthouse was amazing
nothing
Nice setting with pleasant views from the bar and restaurant balcony. Staff were attentive and professional. Would stay again.
Nothing.
Great hotel for exploring Herefordshire and was perfect for our wedding access to Dewsall Court.

The Pilgrim Hotel has a big (dusty) gravelled car park which was ideal. Reception was efficient but no offer of help with the luggage - there was no lift.
The room was very spacious, clean and very 1970's. The bathroom had a Triton shower and a plastic shower curtain. It worked. No mixer taps on the bath or sink.
Electric sockets were available but extension leads were in evidence. Not a good look.
Room only at £114. No breakfast.
Violette Szabo room with information. Very good.
There is a lovely restaurant terrace with wide-ranging views and I enjoyed a pint of Butty Bach.
The restaurant had a fair choice of options with curry being the signature highlight apparently. I opted for the pork belly. Very disappointing. There was a thick layer of white gooey fat that had not been rendered. What was left was not a lot! Not good. I mentioned it to the waitress who said she would pass it on to the chef. On reflection she should have mentioned it to the restaurant manager.
This hotel would be brilliant if some investment was made to bring it into the 21st century. Nevertheless it was a convenient stopover heading towards Newport. I can't see it ever changing
Tasteful large room
Winter duvet in 30 degree heat!
Very well located. Friendly and helpful staff at reception and bar.
Room lovely and clean
View was amazing. Lovely chilled vibe. Food ace .
This is a lovely property which feels very secluded despite being close to main roads. The rooms are lovely and quirky, very comfortable and the staff are exceptional - nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast too, and good dinner menu of sensibly priced locally sourced produce.
That I couldn’t stay longer!
Lovely big apartment suite, great views and restaurant outdoor area.

Fabulous views, home away from home!
Other guests woke us up slamming doors but that wasn’t the hotel…you can’t choose your guests.
We didn't have the breakfasts, but enjoyed two evening meals, they were excellent (the Hereford beef steaks especially). The views are spectacular and there were three areas to eat - inside, in the conservatory or out on the decking.
Not a great deal, but the bedrooms and bathrooms are dated. They were clean and the bath had an electric shower over.
Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Loved the evening menu. Relaxed atmosphere, would highly recommend. Big shout to Trevor, Lisa and the bar tender in the evenings
