Location
It was ordinary
It is set in such a beautiful place in a lovely old building we will definitely come back. Everything was very nice except you could hear footsteps in the room above, and the mattress was hard.
The sausage and bacon in the cooked breakfast option were real farmers old fashioned food (not wet soggy supermarket stuff) Other clientele were so pleased with the place too it was a happy experience
Mattresses
Had a wonderful time at the pilgrim hotel this weekend. The staff were fantastic. Claire especially on reception and behind the bar was incredibly friendly and helpful.
We dined one evening and the steak was fantastic. One of the best I have had.
The stay was well above what I expected.
Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff.
Beautiful views.
Large comfortable rooms, good bar and restaurant.
Just starting to look a little dated.
Everything about the hotel was fantastic. In particular, my room was amazing (room 3).
Nothing, we all loved it.
Only 3 stars but would highly recommend easy for hereford, Ross, leominster. Room was spacious bathroom great.nice privacy on patio.staff very helpful cooked breakfast nice and freshly cooked.also good Sunday lunch.
Nothing to dislike.
Spaces, very clean
Warning to people who are gluten free and unable to eat cereals for breakfast you may be charged an extra £6 for a bowl of porridge
Wet evening in May, called in on spec for a meal. Staff on the ball, and menu choices very good. Food was excellent with brilliant service. Will call again when in the area.
I did not have the breakfast but the family did and was pleased with it!
The staff were very friendly our garden suite was livrly
Breakfast wasn’t included
Big plus, open all day for food. Easy parking and a warm welcome. Fantastic views from the dining conservatory. Extensive menu . Chicken schnitzel, grilled chicken, lasagne, and burger, all rated excellent. Spoilt for choice. A fascinating feature on arrival was a room dedicated to Violette Zsabo, awarded the GC for bravery. A small museum is close by which we aim to include on a return visit.
The location, setup, rooms, facilities and restaurant were absolutely excellent. The staff were all amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Such a wonderful hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend the Pilgrim to anyone.
The provision for people with dietary requirements was also fantastic - one of our party is coeliac, and she was amazed that she had so much great choice on the menu both at dinner, and breakfast the next day!
Nothing - couldn’t fault a thing.
I stayed with my Mum before and after a wedding at Dewsall Court. This hotel is in the perfect location - less than 10 minutes drive away, and with recommendations for local taxis to book if needed.
Mum has mobility problems, and the provision for her room was fantastic - great communication beforehand to make sure she had an accessible room, loads of space in her bedroom to comfortably move around, and a really well equipped bathroom that meant she didn’t need to worry about accessibility.
She couldn’t speak highly enough of how comfortable her stay was (and mine too, in my really gorgeous room). Both of us have said it was the most comfortable night’s sleep we’ve had in a really long time!
Breakfast was delicious, and the whole team couldn’t do enough for us. We’ll be back!
Everything was amazing!
