Pros:

Despite the location it is rather safe, I parked my vehicle full of work tools and not one went missing.

Cons:

It's location but then again you get what you pay for but either than that it's a good venue

They have rats, cockroaches and ants in the rooms.
No bathroom mirror
No wardrobes
No linen changes
Towels are hard and dry
For 2 people we got 1 big towel and 1 small towel, the booking was for two people
Wifi password was not shared with us but we booked for 5 nights.
Shared kitchen is unsanitary has rats, i almost got ran over by one that was exiting the bin.
No smoking facilities we had to guess where that is out side.
No coffee station, bring your own mug and coffee.
This place is for people who are dowling one night stands not for couples who want peace and quiet.
There was a fridge, not plugged in and bearly stands up straight in our room and a piece of furnisher that looked like a desk but was to bulky to be one our room a run down white peeling pleather couch. It was horrendous we left on night 4 didn't ask for refund as they have a strict no refund policy all over their walls.

Pros:

Staff and their welcoming was awesome. They gave directions exptionally well and even escorted. Room was comforting really felt right at home. silent night no disturbance from my side .

Cons:

Okay it took a while for the shower to heat up . which can be maintained to avoid any water wastage.

Pros:

The security was good.

Cons:

The heating was visibly absent. The bed was very cold on winter night. Access was poor and the address fits into 4 different places in Joburg. Houghton Estate needs to be included in the facility's address on Booking.com
