Pros:

Very handy to I-35 in Forest Lake. Staff were lovely. So kind and helpful.

Horrible, don’t stay here!
Pros:

This hotel should actually not be allowed to still be in business. The worst stay. Dirty, very old interior everything and very overgrown exterior. Air fresheners in outlets in hallways covering up terrible smells. Room door did not latch when closed. Quite unsafe.

A great place on the way to Lake Superior
Pros:

A delightful place close to I-35 but quiet and peaceful with a great pool and breakfast and several good restaurants in walking distance and friendly, helpful staff.

It was stressful and uncomfortable
Pros:

When I finally was able to find help at the front desk, they were kind.

Cons:

Our room was not clean. There was what looked like blood on the bathroom light switch. You couldn't enter from any exterior doors other then the front door. It was hard to find front desk staff.

Great experience!
Pros:

I've been traveling to MN many times, and this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in MN. The room is particularly clean and bigger than I expected. I especially like the color/theme in the room. The service is very responsive. Breakfast is provided until late morning, so no pressure to wake up early at all. Great experience overall!

Breakfast was basic and went to Perkins next door for real breakfast.

Cons:

Make sure the TV remotes work in the room. 214 remote would not turn volume down.

it was close to where I needed to be

Cons:

Check in took over 15 minutes, even after prechecking in on the website. clerk couldn't find my reservation or confirmation number. seems they had an update in software and didn't know how to use it. Later found out the television didn't work and after spending 10 minutes trying to call the front desk, walked down there to report it. Never got it to work, the man at the front desk could't get it to work and stated it wasn't his fault. Hot tub was advertised, but closed off. Overall dissapointing stay

Giving it one more shot
Pros:

Check in was not great but the room and accommodations were good especially for the price of the room. Location is awesome and it isn't noisy at all!

Close to food and restaurants

Cons:

The tv volume didn’t work. when I let the from desk know, they didn’t have an answer or a solution for it. Asked to get switched to a different room.. that’s didn’t happen.

The hot tub could use a remodel and the jets didn’t work.
