It was OK
Pros:

The room was reasonably clean. There were a lot of breakfast options. Coffee was good.

Cons:

The drain cover in the shower was completely disconnected leaving sharp tile edges exposed. That's the kind of thing that anyone cleaning the shower would notice. Less obvious I suppose was the shower head leaking so bad that about half the water never made to the head. These types of maintenance issues are so common that I expect them. The room was weirdly humid regardless of the ventilation setting.

Mostly good.
Pros:

The Americinn satisfied us on almost every level: cleanliness, helpful staff, adequate light in the rooms, pleasant decor, good linens. It fell down on its breakfasts. In the past, Americinn was known for its breakfasts being a cut above other similar hotels. The last two Americinns we've stayed it, including this one, did not compare favorably. There was no fresh fruit, the cereal came in little containers rather than bulk and no granola option, the flatware was the cheapest possible, and the hot food was nothting special. All in all, more like hotels at the cheaper end of the market.
