I would book at Americinn again.
Pros:

The breakfast and room were awesome-very clean. The assessable room was great-I was able to move around. The shower was easy for me to get in and out.

Cons:

The bed was a little mushy instead of cushy. I needed a reminder that the incidental fee would be taken out from my account. I was thinking I didn’t get a booking.com deal.

We alway stay here when we come visit family. We always ask for the 2 bed suite. My husband is handicapped.

Pros:

The location is SO convenient with pretty much all businesses right in that location! Friendly staff and clean rooms. Will definitely save this hotel for our next trip there!

Cons:

Didn't bring in more clean towels the next morning. All the wet towels were still in the corner of the bathroom. Had to use those for our showers. Bed was a little hard for me but I'm sure I was the only one who had that issue. I never got a response back when I asked about a cot brought in either.

Safe and warm from a snowstorm
Pros:

My hotel stay was unexpected due to a snowstorm. So I literally had nothing with me, but the front desk person was so kind. I was able to get a comb, toothpaste, coffee, and a hot breakfast. The only thing that I’m going to pack in my car just in case it happens again would be my swimsuit because they have a lovely hot tub. If I visit again, it’s because of a snowstorm, but I was so lucky that I was able to stay there and be safe.

Pros:

Breakfast was pretty standard for a place like this; nothing spectacular. We were traveling with a team and had access to their large hospitality room, which was an unexpected bonus. The online check-in/check-out process was also convenient.

Cons:

On the last morning of our stay, a member of the staff was chastising some of the boys on the team for running and going up and down the stairs. She was demanding that they tell her their room numbers. The one boy that was running immediately stopped when requested but she persisted in demanding room numbers. Fortunately, the boys were savvy enough not to give their room numbers out to strangers. I think this matter could have been handled much better and she created much more of a commotion than what she thought she was addressing in the first place.

Nice hotel
Pros:

Clean nice addition or renovated rooms make it very big, online check in and out made it easy!

Cons:

Breakfast not many options, no grab and go, no fresh fruit, hot tub could be hotter and jets not working.

Great Location and Family Friendly!
Pros:

We spent a couple of nights at the American Inn in Merrill, WI with the grandkids as they did not have school. They loved the pool and the breakfast in the morning- their favorite is the make your own waffles.
We have stayed there a couple of times in the past and it is always consistently clean and friendly. It is close to a gas station, Walmart, a dollar Tree, Subway, McDonald's among other things. Our room was a little dated as we stayed in an older part, but we loved it because it was close to the pool.
