Pros:

we used this hotel for the last year while traveling to brantford for work. the rooms where clean. staff was courteous, breakfast was great.
but then everytbing turned around on December 25 when we booked our room with booking.com as usual. using our visa debit..
when arriving at the hotel after our Christmas festivities, provided the confirmation number, and email from the property approving the reservation, we were denied access,with our 5 yearold son midnight December 25th, and forced to drive back to northern ontario, forcing me to drive an additional 7 hours back after being awake for 24 hours.

all of this being done without providing or offering a refund,

booking.com and IHG have stolen 200 dollars from.my family, denied us our room, put our lives in jeprody forcing us the drive exhausted through a snow storm, before leaving the property i ensured I police report was made.

the mayor of brantford, as well as a personal friend in the city council has been notified, in addition to the police report being made.

THE FACT THEY ACCEPTED MY PAYMENT, NOT ONCE BUT 8 TIMES OVER 1 YEAR, THEN CHANGED THEIR POLICYS WITHOUT NOTICE, WITHOUT COOPERATION FROM BOOKING AGENCIES, DENIED A FAMILY A PLACE TO STAY ALL ON CHRISTMAS OVER A 75 DOLLAR INSODENTAL FEE, THAT COULD HAVE BEEN PAID IN CASH OR VIA DEBIT, A GREATER DEPOSIT WAS OFFERED,
YOUS LEFT MY FAMILY STRANDED ON CHRISTMAS DAY AND STOLE OUR MONEY. THEN HAVE THE ADUCITY TO ASK FOR A REVIEW?

Perfect for our needs.
Pros:

Photos of rooms are accurate. Beds were comfortable. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Depending on the group, the common space by entrance/meals can get quite loud. Breakfast wasn't an issue, but the large team hanging out in the evening made it a place to avoid as the room just echoed.

Pay attention to the turn points heading to the hotel. It's easy to turn too early and miss it altogether... at least for me.
