Everything was absolutely perfect. The warm welcoming of the staff, the attention to details. The cleaningless of the room and all spaces. Very comfortable seating area in front of the wonderful beach. The food was absolutely delicious. Plenty of activities to choose from, I went for the village visit and it was a great experience. The other people in the dorm were very friendly too :) and it was nice to have a common table.
The room was very comfortable, maybe the best dorm I have experienced. The beds are not bunked and they all have a bit of privacy,it almost seems like to be in your own room.
I stayed only one night but I really wish I would have spent more time here and wish to come back one day!
Variety of accommodation options, many seating areas, sunset viewing area, great hikes to participate in but would highly recommend great footwear as the dirt makes it a little slippery, the staff were so lovely, great food available, a lot of activities to participate in, beautiful reefs and the most blue water. Great massages!

Beautiful & comfortable
Divine space
A family feel to the place. Everyone was happy and friendly and got to know our names.
Location and room
Small portion of food at compulsory meal plan
I cannot fault my stay at Oarsman’s Bay Lodge. I felt like a member of the family the moment I got off the boat and was led to reception. The bure was clean and comfortable, the shower pressure was amazing, and the surrounds were stunning (beach chairs and lounges, footpath to main reception). The staff were so kind, funny, informative, and went above and beyond to make sure we could participate in any activity we wanted. I would recommend night fishing, reef hoping, an island hike, and a visit to the nearby village and school which was my highlight. The beach bonfire night was another highlight. The food was delicious and so fresh, coming straight from the garden behind our bure. We met so many people from around the globe and I think the resort being 18+ really helps with making quality connections with others.
Wifi connection was a little weak.
Staff were great, the facilities good and room comfortable
More sun beds on the beach would have been nice
Lugar salido de nuestros mejores sueños. Tanto las habitaciones como el trato de todos es excepcional, y el entorno algo único. No lo olvidaremos!
The location was beautiful and the staff were fantastic. Big shout out to Sepho (hope I’m spelling that right), he was brilliant in general and with us on activities and one of the most talented people I’ve met.
They have a great range of activities to do (paid and free) and rooms were great.
De kamers waren prima.
Ze hebben geen respect voor hun omgeving en hebben recht voor onze ogen een hond met opzet laten verdrinken. We hebben minuten aan gegil gehoord door merg en been!
Most beautiful beach and island. Amazing staff and delicious food. Snorkelling here is incredible.
Unser Lieblingshotel!
Blue Lagoon bay is spectacular, great snorkeling on reef straight off the beach. Definitely recommend taking the private resort ferry from Naisoso over the South Sea boat. Only 1:45 versus 4.5 hours and still see the same stuff. Even has wifi..Enables you to get nearly a full day at the resort arriving before 9:30am rather than Sth Sea arriving at 1:30pm and by the time you checkin which is so easy at Oarsman you are 3pm by the time younget settled in. Really become the hike up the hill......but only attempt in dry weather and take the Blue Lagoon Resort track on the way down for a different route. Last but not least Tiki the manager and staff were great.
Although one of the most protected resorts from.the trade winds in the Yasawa Island's we were unlucky with strong winds for 2 days put of 4. Way more sheltered than Paradise Cove on trade winds.
Location was good
The manager tiki was awful. Staff visibly scared of him. He was rude to staff infront of all guests checking in so I can only imagine what he was like when we weren’t there. Used wording such a ‘hurry up women’ to the staff and no please or thanks when addressing them. The whole vibe of the place seems eary. Spent most of our day at the blue lagoon resort which had a polar opposite good vibe. Food was also awful but the manager was the real downfall
Our cabin was decorated beautifully with open air bathroom. It also has a hammock and a balcony with chairs.
1) The bags stored in the general office which contained items to be collected by Fr Mike (for donation to the village kids) was opened without our permission. When asked, the manager said one of his staff, by the name of Mary opened it. But till the time I left the resort, I did not meet the person "Mary" though I requested to meet her;
2) Poor management as they would not allow us a later check out (must vacate by 1100) on the day we joined their tour to the Sawa-i-Lau cave and needed to use the bathroom to shower down. We were asked to use the shower rooms of the bunkers and the shower pressure was very poor.
The staff was so incredibly friendly and made you feel at home. The atmosphere was very relaxing and there is plenty of space to hang around. Food was delicious and the activities were well organised. Would’ve stayed longer if we could.
