We went to a pilgrimage in Italy recently and we stayed in this hotel. The staff in the front desk were not very friendly. There is no elevator so we had to drag your luggage up and down the tiny stairs. This is not a senior friendly hotel. Breakfast was awful but dinner was ok. The kitchen staff at dinner were nice.
Hotel Centrale in Loreto, Italy:
I came here with my mom and had a lovely experience. Our room had a view of the Basilica della Santa Casa. We came here on a pilgrimage and stayed in Loreto for 10 days. Paolo, the owner, was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is walking distance to the Holy House, making it very easy to participate in the many events of the Basilica: rosary procession in the Piazza Madonna for Our Lady of Loreto on Mother’s day weekend, daily 9pm Rosaries in May, daily mass in the Holy House at 7:30 a.m., and mass with the cardinal on Sunday.
There’s a restaurant next to Hotel Centrale; and across the street there’s a coffee shop, called Caffe’ Centrale, which makes great americano coffee.
Also, for those of you who unfortunately cannot eat gluten, like us, Paolo can tell you how to get to a large supermarket close-by called Coop, which has delicious individual gluten-free ice cream (lime, coffee, chocolate flavor) and a ton of amazing gluten free (‘senza glutine’) bread, turkey slices, cheese, etc. I mention this because the hotel lets its guests use a fridge and freezer and since Loreto has an amazing view of the sea and greenery, the ice cream adds to the experience.

Se ritorneremo a Loreto senz'altro andremo a soggiornare all'hotel Centrale.
This is a cute hotel with old-school charm in the best location for visiting the Loreto town center and basilica. Completely renovated facilities boasted impeccable use of small spaces. Private. VERY clean. Very convenient parking. The host was extremely accommodating. Nice variety for a simple breakfast.
Very cute hotel and staff are very friendly and helpful. The shower could be cleaner and under the bed as well has not been cleaned. Apart from that best location because its near the bus stop for the train station as well as near the Church and main attractions. Beautiful view of the city.
23 year old solo U.S. male traveler. This location was perfect for seeing the Basilica della Santa Casa. A few good food places near by, bus stop, grocery store.
Clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly welcoming staff. Good wifi and good Italian breakfast.
Not a single complaint!
Stayed one night. We had several rooms for a group. Price was quite reasonable. You can walk to the Holy House and everything in town in a couple minutes. We walked from the train station, probably about a mile uphill, but we were not in a hurry. If you are not up for the walk, you can get a taxi. We did when we left. Everything was clean and worked. Had a very good dinner in the hotel for reasonable price. We had an 8 am train leaving, so had to leave before breakfast started at the hotel, so can't comment on that.
Pros: Exceptional customer service.
Cons: No kettle in the room for tea and/or coffee. However, I was given a tray for morning coffee from the breakfast room and a pot of hot water every night for tea.
Location: The Loreto Holy House, shops, restaurants are less than a 5 minute walk. A must eat is Antica Pizzeria del Corso. 60025 Loreto Ave. Family run, Fresh!
My sister and I traveled with our almost 85 year old mother; there was not an elevator. Our concern was not even a concern our bags were carried up to our room. Unbeknownst to us our room was small. Immediately we were offered a second room at no additional charge. The food and service at the attached restaurant was very good. All the food is local and fresh. The price is very reasonable. We stayed 4 nights; upon leaving the proprietor drove us to the train station in his personal car. There was no charge.
Very clean place, close to the sanctuary, excelent staff, the owner is always trying to help you, good breakfast (you're in Italy so you know how their breakfast looks like) and a unique atmosphere. No bad points. I'll be back.
Great hotel in historic village. Good easy parking, host supburb and very helpful. Price well within our budget and value, in this town on comparision.Good value for money.Location great and hady to all
My family stayed here for two nights. It is a great hotel, wonderful atmosphere, great service, and a very central location. We have four kids ages 4-11 and they loved it. Great water fountain and ice cream place just outside/next to the hotel. The hotel owner picked us up at the train station (2 trips since we were so many) and the staff made us really feel at home during the stay. We would love to go back and visit again.
