Hinta-laatusuhde todella pettymys. Asiakaspalveluun ei vastattu vaikka soitin asiasta kaksi kertaa.

Henkilökunta ystävällistä.Aamupala hyvä ja riittävä.

Cons:

Huone todella epäsiisti. Pitkiä (koiran) karvoja lakanoilla. Pölypunkkeja sängyn alusta täynnä. Huone erittäin kylmä(-15 pihalla). WC:ssä/suihkussa +15 C lämmintä.
Tiedossa oli, että vanha hotelli,mutta pitäs nyt siistiä huoneet ku sinne majoittaa vieraita.
Onkohan huone edes muitten käytössä ollut.

Cons:

Hieman tunkkainen haju alakerran majoitustiloissa. Häiritsi hieman alkuun, tottui nopeasti.

Hyvä aamupala ja illallinen ihan perustasoa. Kokonaisuus hinta laatusuhteelta erinomainen. Hiihtäjälle täydellinen sijainti. Helpot ladut lähtee moneen suuntaan ihan takapihalta.

Aamupala oli hyvä

Cons:

Pelkistetty huone vailla mukavuuksia. Vetoisa ikkuna ja kovalla pakkasella sieltä kyllä tuli kylmää ilmaa sisälle.

Oli puhdasta ja siivottu hyvin, henkilökunta suurimmaksi osaksi mukavaa, aamiainen hyvä.

Cons:

Todella vanha hotelli, kuvista sai hienomman käsityksen kuin mitä todellisuus oli. Yllätyskuluja.

Autoille lämmityspaikkoja tarvitsisi pohjoisen hotellissa olla, vaikka olisivat maksullisia. Takapihalla iso parkkialue mutta ei sähköä saatavilla.

Homely comfort, not luxury. Good value
Pros:

Stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed my stay - this was one of the more affordable ones in this area. Room was clean, heaters were working.

Booking came with buffet breakfast and dinner which I wasn’t expecting. Breakfast is standard - a small salad bar with ham and cheese, eggs, bacon/sausage and a small selection of cereals and pastries. Dinner varies slightly, a salad bar, soup, a protein, a carb (potato/rice),veg and dessert. Although the selection wasn’t extensive, it was sufficient and food was tasty (short of the pancakes that tasted microwaved).

Service was very friendly, from the staff at the counter to those serving and cleaning up at meals. When I told the young gentleman at the counter on the first day that the soap dispenser in my room was empty, he very apologetically went himself at once to top it up. They also do have the cutest boys staffing the counter.

Stayed here to ski at yllas. The ski shuttle bus pick up (as with the airport shuttle) drops off at eelin kauppa which is a short easy 5min walk away. Unfortunately the ski shuttle isn’t frequent - once every 3 hours - but it does time with resort opening, lesson hours etc, and was reliable in the week I used it. Twice the bus left the stop earlier than schedule (once a good 8mins before) so I always made sure I was early

I didn’t book any of the safartica winter activities but I saw small groups going and looked convenient enough to arrange and get picked up. They have a program book and each activity (eg husky, reindeer sledding, snowshoeing etc) starting at 100-200 euros.

Cons:

Walls are quite thin, and could hear corridor chatter or doors closing. Wasn’t an issue for me but i hope my nocturnal cough didn’t bother others. Toiletries are minimal - a single soap that I guess is supposed to go every part of the body. Don’t expect much of a view of the lake in winter
