Decent, nice staff, but way overpriced for the total quality of the stay.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable, and the staff was very helpful when we did have issues, and room service was extremely polite even though we ordered late. The location was also convenient to most attractions downtown. We did receive a credit to our meal for the inconveniences we experienced, and the restaurant downstairs was very nice.

Cons:

Horrible experience with the elevator, our room keys (physical and the app) rarely worked so we got stuck in the elevator at one point and twice couldn’t get into our room. The room (424) was directly above the dumpster, so we listened to glass bottles being thrown in at maximum volume for 10-15 minutes at 11:30, and then the trash truck nearly gave us heart attacks at 5:00 the next morning. We also did not have a microwave in the room, minimal coffee items that were never restocked, and the soaps on the wall of the shower were nearly empty, and also never filled. Everything is also STILL under construction (we stayed here last year also), and everything is set up and running in a way that does not meet the expectations set by the price.

Cleanliness - carpet was dirty, light fittings were very dusty & and we had to move room as there was water coming through the roof from the room upstairs

Overall, I had a very short stay that was just fine. I thought the pillows were soft and the price was reasonable.
Pros:

Bed felt comfortable, lobby is pretty.

Cons:

Room was dark and freezing when I went in it. It took hours for it to warm up to a point where I was not miserable. I would not say the room was totally clean.

Schönes gemütliches altes Hotel mit Charme, tolles Essen und Frühstück im Restaurant, schlechte Lage
Pros:

Das Hotel ist ein historisches Gebäude in Downtown Kansas City. Die Zimmer strahlen noch alten Glanz und der Savoy Grill (Restaurant und Frühstücksraum) ist sehr gemütlich. Das Essen dort ist exzellent und noch im preislichen Rahmen. Auch das Hotel hat im Vergleich mit anderen einen guten Preis für den alten Charme. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Zimmer groß und sauber.

Cons:

Nicht so toll ist die Umgebung - viele zugeteerte Parkplätze und hässliche Häuserblocks. Keine attraktiven Ziele in fußläufiger Nähe.

Excellent property and amazing staff
Pros:

The hotel is absolutely adorable and in a great location with access to several parking lots nearby. The staff was also extremely accommodating, as we stayed for a wedding party!

Pros:

Die Zimmer waren angenehm groß hatten eine schöne Ausstattung. Es war ruhig man konnte ggf sogar wenn man in einen oberen Stock gebucht hat auch mit offenem Fenster schlafen vorausgesetzt die Temperaturen waren dementsprechend.

Cons:

Sicher ist es auch ein kultureller Unterschied, eine permanente Medien Konfrontation in irgendeiner Form empfinde ich als störend. Das Frühstück ist in dem Hotel von der Karte zu wählen, und hier eher eben typisch amerikanisch, sehr fettreich uns schwer nichts aber auch wirklich nichts für eine Person welche morgens gerne ein Brötchen und Marmalade oder Honig essen möchte, Obst etc
