This is a unique place to stay. It is a very old building with lots of character - our room had wooden beams! The breakfast is given to you in a basket and you eat it in your room. The receptionist was so polite and friendly and so helpful with recommendations. The hotel is ideally situated only minutes away from the city centre. The city took us by surprise - it is stunning! You can park on site but you have to pay €20 but it is worth it for peace of mind.

This hotel is not in good condition. Scalding water temperature; continuously leaking bathroom faucet; bathtub with a sign -not for use; peeling ‘leather’ couch with a too small cover to hide the condition. WIFI was not operable for more than 24 hours. Indifferent staff.

Ce qui crée d' emblée surprise et décéption.
Un immeuble de charme transformé en appart'hôtel.
Un bric à brac dès la réception et dans le hall de l' immeuble Rénovation qui a très mal vieilli, un canapé complètement déchiré recouvert d'un triste plaid gris, un réfrigérateur rouillé sur lequel est posé une cafetetière pour cacher la misère, une installation éléctrique pas très rassurante, des carreaux crasseux, un lit oú il faut grimper en bout de lit car pas la place sur le côtés.... bref vous avez compris.
Par contre c'est propre, la literie est confortable et l'appartement bien situé dans Troyes.
Nous ne reviendrons pas.

Pros:

We liked the historic building en the location in the historic Centre of Troyes. Last time we visited we were far more enthusiastic about the Hospitality and services. We missed the welcome of the owner, and we were not amused the the breakfast was served the evening before, while it was very warm outside. So old bread and melted cheese. We’ll come back when the owner is present!

Attention cependant, ne vous attendez pas à trouver des chaussons, peignoirs, ou autres produits de toilette, comme dans un hôtel 5 étoiles...

We had an amazing stay in this lovely hotel. So quirky and full of character. Beds - amazing, best sleep ever. Walkable everywhere in Troyes old town, plenty of restaurants and cafes on your door step, grocery shop 5 min walk away.
Lovely owners and housekeeping girls. Will definitely stay again as we are in this area often visiting my husband’s family. Definitely recommend!

la chambre est très mal agenacée, la salle de douche un vrai frigo, la température et le débit de la douche change tout le temps, on passe du froid au brûlant en 15 secondes, les toilettes, très étroites, permettent d'éviter de glisser sur la lunette des toilettes qui glisse sur la cuvette..., marrant mais une chambre sinistre. lumières allumées dans la cour toute la nuit, bruits de passage de voitures. Je recommande d'éviter.

Pros:

Très pratique car au centre de la ville, proche des restaurants et du coeur de ville, cependant peu confortable l'hiver car bâtiment historique très difficile à chauffer. Le nombre d'étoiles est trompeur.

Très bien accueil. Surclassement pour la chambre. Petit dej excellent et avec des produits de qualité.
Visite de la ville le samedi et magasins d'usine le dimanche. Belle ville et bonnes affaires au magasins d'usine.

Pros:

Appartement plein de charme. Nous avons rencontré 2 personnes. L'une pour l'accueil et l'autre à notre depart qui ont fait preuve de sympathie. Le petit déjeuner était de plus tres copieux.
