Pros:

Hotel base perfecto para visitar todo el Valle del Genal

El hotel esta situado en Cartajima y tiene una ubicacion perfecta para visitar todo el Valle del Genal; una zona espectacular de naturaleza y con pueblos todos ellos con encanto.
Nuestra estancia en el hotel ha sido muy confortable, tanto las habitaciones como las zonas comunes, estan muy bien decoradas de manera que te sientes como si fuera tu casa den el campo y sobre todo, el trato que nos han ofecido la pareja de propietaros, ha sido muy acojedor; siempre dispuesto a hacer nuestra estancia muy agradable y dandonos sugerencias y consejos para nuestras visitas en la zona.
Un desayuno muy bueno, en nuestro caso incluido en la estancia y con una gran variedad según los gustos de cada uno.
Sitio muy recomendable; si se da la oportunidad, repetiriemos.

Cons:

La calefacción es controlada de forma centralizada y tan solo quizas la sugerencia de que estuviese un poco mas alta para hacer mas confortable el tiempo en la habitación. Pero no es una queja porque no les dijimos nada a los dueños, porque si se lo hubieramos dicho, seguro que habrian subido un poco mas la temperatura.

Prachtige omgeving om te verblijven !
Pros:

Prachtig gelegen hotelletje wat het dan ook wat avontuurlijker maakt om er te geraken. Maar met de supergoede instructies van Frank ging alles zeer vlot.
Kamer was mooi en zeer gezellig en in de badkamer genoten we van de extraatjes (badjas, douchegerief,…).
Een speciale vermelding toch wel voor het eten dat hier geserveerd wordt, van ontbijt tot avondeten: zeer smaakvol, veel groenten en alles van zeer goede kwaliteit.

Totalmente recomendable.
Pros:

Situado en el mismo centro del pueblo al mismo tiempo es muy tranquilo y el trato del personal inmejorable, todo facilidades.

Etwas Besonderes, aber zum Glück nicht fancy
Pros:

Diese Unterkunft unterscheidet sich von anderen Hotels, da die Einrichtung nicht die typische Standardhoteleinrichtung ist. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zu Detail eingerichtet.
Wir hatten im Zimmer einen Balkon in Richtung Patio, man kann aber auch Zimmer mit Aussicht auf die Berge buchen. Für uns war der Blick auf den Patio völlig ausreichend, weil wir uns einfach auf die Dachterrasse gesetzt haben mit herrlicher Aussicht.
Im Hotel selbst gibt es einen kleinen Frühstücks-/ Abendessenbereich, der ebenso liebevoll gestaltet ist, wie die Zimmer. Dort befinden sich auch eine Selbstbedienungsbar und man kann sich kostenfrei Trinkwasser holen. Weiterhin ist eine Sofaecke vorhanden, direkt neben dem Kamin, welcher extra für uns in Betrieb genommen wurde. Das Hotel hat nur 6 Zimmer. Deshalb ist alles sehr individuell.
Wir haben tolle Tipps bekommen, was wir in der kurzen Zeit machen können und haben uns für eine kleine Wanderung entschieden, die durch Olivenhaine und Kastanienwälder führte. Die Wanderung war nicht ausgeschildert, aber von Frank, unserem Gastgeber so beschrieben, dass es keine Probleme gab und wir wundervolle Aussichten und Ruhe geniessen konnten. Witzig fanden wir die Idee des Outdoor-Gym auf der Dachterrasse ;-)
Zum Abendessen haben wir uns überraschen lassen - es gibt ein 3-Gänge-Überraschungsdinner. Ich hatte im Vorfeld geschrieben, dass wir kein Fleisch und lactosefrei essen/trinken - das hat sowohl beim Abendessen als auch beim Frühstück gut funktioniert. Man weiß wirklich nicht, was es gibt, bis das Abendessen beginnt. Ich kann aber sagen: Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und wir empfehlen allen, es auszuprobieren.
Beim Frühstück kann man aus einem Menü auswählen, gibt abends die Bestellung ab und früh kommt man an einen liebevoll gedeckten Tisch.
Das Dorf selbst ist sehr ruhig. Aber wunderschön.

Cons:

Im Dorf gibt es derzeit nur eine Bar/Restaurant, welches um 20 Uhr oder 21 Uhr schliesst. Frank meinte, dass sich das wohl wieder ändern soll. Aber derzeit gibt es in Cartajima nicht das typische abendliche Leben, welches wir aus anderen Dörfern kennen.
