Incredibly Venice hotel
Pros:

I love Venice. This hotel is fantastic. Run to an exceptionally high standard. I highly recommend a room with a canal view. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Absolutely top notch. We will be back.

Pros:

Was für ein außergewöhnlich schönes und elegantes Hotel. Zudem liegt es in einem Stadteil, welches etwas ruhiger ist und in direkter Nachbarschaft finden sich entzückende kleine Bars mit Plätzen am Kanal.

Eine perfekte Heimat, um Venedig zu erkunden.

Großartiges Personal, leider enttäuschendes Frühstück

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das äußerst freundliche und professionelle Personal. Ich habe mich jederzeit herzlich willkommen und sehr gut betreut gefühlt. Die Mitarbeiter waren aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und haben mit ihrer Gastfreundschaft einen durchweg positiven Eindruck hinterlassen.

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und stilvoll, passend zum venezianischen Ambiente eingerichtet. Sie waren stets sauber, und Wasser, Tee sowie Kaffee standen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Auch das großzügige Badezimmer war sehr gepflegt. Das Bett war äußerst bequem, sodass ich sehr gut schlafen konnte.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war für mich leider eine große Enttäuschung. Gerade in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel hätte ich ein deutlich höheres Niveau erwartet. Dass Eierspeisen lediglich einzeln aus der Karte bestellt werden können und darüber hinaus extra berechnet werden, empfand ich bereits als unangemessen. Umso enttäuschender war es, dass diese dann auch noch kalt serviert wurden.

Auch das Buffet konnte den Anspruch in keiner Weise erfüllen – die Auswahl war äußerst begrenzt, wenig kreativ und wirkte insgesamt lieblos zusammengestellt. Es entstand der Eindruck, dass hier lediglich ein Mindeststandard erfüllt werden sollte, anstatt den Gästen ein wirklich hochwertiges Frühstückserlebnis zu bieten.

Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel in Venedig blieb das Frühstück somit deutlich hinter meinen Erwartungen zurück. Es tut mir leid, dies so deutlich formulieren zu müssen, aber meine Enttäuschung ist entsprechend groß.

Great Stay!
Pros:

Absolutely fantastic stay! The hotel was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always friendly and attentive. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

A great choice in Venice
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Ca’ Bonfadini during our first visit to Venice.

The location is ideal — within walking distance of the train station and only about 5 minutes from the main attractions, yet peacefully situated away from the crowds and noise. This balance made a big difference in our overall experience.

The hotel itself is truly special. Staying in a beautifully restored historic palace while enjoying all modern comforts made our visit feel unique and memorable.

Breakfast was excellent, with high-quality options and a lovely atmosphere. The highlight of our stay, however, was the staff — especially the reception team. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and offered great recommendations.
Overall, a beautiful and memorable experience. We would definitely come back.

Exceptional night in Venice.
Pros:

Just an absolutely beautiful property right on the canal. The hostess was exceptional. She made us feel welcome and set up a trip to murano island for us. The breakfast was a full buffet with a hot menu.

Cons:

Loved it all.

A True 5 Star Experience
Pros:

-Impressive and decorative historial touch throughout
-Large, spacious room with well designed interior
-Staff is very professional, corteous and helpful even for a 5 star hotel
-Breakfast selction and quality outstanding
-The restaurant DAMA in the hotel has an very talented and ambitions chef. Highly recommend it for their local tradition and extremely high quality of raw ingredients. A true pleasure
-We got a free room upgrade to a suite which was more than expected (it does not affect the other points here)

I travel a lot and eat in many michelin restaurants- if you want to take your partner to an wonderful weekend there nothing will dissapoint you- go here.

Cons:

-Location is maybe the one thing I can mention. It is not far but not super close to the main attractions. You have not far to boat stations though (commercial way of travelling)
-It´s an historical building so the floor can be a bit hard (beautiful) if you have joint issues
