OYO 3192 Day inn

1. I booked 4 rooms for a family trip with 12 persons
2. After a bitter prior experience at Oyo Pondy Bazar (you can read about my review in TripAdvisor), I called up this hotel after reaching Chennai with 12 people to confirm my booking but to my utter shock, he said there are no rooms available!!! I had to run around in a cab to find alternative accommodation which I managed thanks to a helpful cab driver.

So what I learnt from the two experiences (on the same day in Chennai) is that reservations made using Oyo app has no meaning. Always make your reservations with the hotel directly even if they charge you a bit higher. The so-called low prices published by OYO is just a trap and it seems that is why hotels also do not seem interested in honoring reservations made through OYO.

The saty was comfortable, and room was also average and the hotel location is easily accessible and near to market place so did not face any problem in finding anything but the food was okay but not satisfactory.

I was there with my family for 2 nights and it is a decent budget place to stay in heart of city. They provide you breakfast and good facilities are there, the owners go extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Only wish was that they were a little more cleaner, otherwise no issues....

when we went there, it seemed to be clean n decent, one thing was it is in vicinity to pondy bazaar n located in t nagar, they failed to provide towels for the whole day n said they had no stock. after much waiting they gave us torn towels n very small towels that were actually foot rugs. at night, there were lots of mosquitoes and they could not even provide a insecticide spray and they just said, we cant do anything. never go here.

If your coming to Chennai and are a shopoholic... Then this hotel is best suited for your needs.. located in T Nagar Chennai shopoholic s paradise.... Best rates in the area. Since there is tie up with Oyo rooms are decent as well.. they can improve on cleanliness. But still one of the best hotels in the budget with a great location.

Beeta Residency has tied up with OYO and hence have OYO rooms. The rooms are small but comfortable. AC cooling is good. Don't take breakfast in the package as it sucks. They give you some stale breakfast. Service is hopeless as nobody wants to coomunicate in hindi and their english too is pathetic. If you speak to them in Hindi or English they will deliberately reply in tamil language and that's the only language they speak. People from Chennai are very stubborn and non co-operative. Hotel lacks hygiene and isn't cleaned properly. T - Nagar Market is closeby and hence it's good for shopping. Overall, I would say it's a good budget hotel as it isn't that expensive.
