SILVERSANDS Hotel Boutique - 5Th Ave

La Regadera estaba terrible, estaba obstruida y las pocas lineas de agua que tenia, lanzaban el agua super fuerte, el lavabo estaba roto y estaba obstruido igual y en general, desde la última vez que visitamos el hotel bajó la calidad en cuanto al mantenimiento.

No había agua potable

Piscine inexistante juste 1 jacousi et qui n était pas accessible faute de panne

Nobody was at check in, i waited for an hour. no lock on the doors and i didn’t even stay there i couldn’t get a refund.

We came to our hotel and there was cigarette stains on the couch, weird stains on the sheets, furniture was falling apart and had duct tape on holding it together at places.

No safe, the lock was with a key but no dead bolt.

The area was also questionable. It was difficult to locate the actual area.

We left imidiately and found another hotel. Do not stay.

Todo muy bien, una estancia segura y a buen precio!!! Ya me he hospedado varias veces y lo seguiría haciendo.

We checked in and the room had stains on the furniture and the “clean” bedding. We were honestly afraid we’d get bed bugs. There was a couch that didn’t seem even suitable to sit on for a short amount of time. They advertise a rooftop pool which doesn’t exist. We had to leave and find a new place to stay within 15 minutes of arriving. What a waste of money and our efforts. As regards to safety, the doorknob seemed like anyone could come in on us at any point.

To top it off, nobody at Silversands could speak much English so there was no point complaining so we just left and had to pay to stay elsewhere for our stay.

De entrada no está frente a la playa, no es el hotel de las fotos por fuera es una puertita que parece de hostel, el edificio que muestra las fotos es el de enfrente otros departamentos, y de 4 días no hicieron el aseo solamente el último día.

La señorita que nos atendió en recepción muy amable y atenta.
Sus habitaciones amplias , tiene todas las amenidades de una cocina , su alberca limpia pero un detalle que no me gusto es que el colchon que nos toco muy viejo.

No funcionaba el Wifi y el aire acondicionado no enfriaba

Great Location and Friendly Staff, but Some Minor Letdowns

I recently stayed at Silversands Hotel Boutique in Playa del Carmen, and overall, I had a great experience. The hotel is perfectly located on 5th Avenue, right in the heart of the action, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and the lively atmosphere that makes Playa del Carmen so special.

The room itself was spacious and comfortable, which I really appreciated. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, always ready to help with anything I needed. However, there were a couple of small disappointments. The shower wasn’t great, which was a bit frustrating, and I was surprised that the room didn’t come with an electric kettle, which would have been a nice touch for making tea or coffee.

Despite these minor inconveniences, the location and service made up for it. If you’re looking for a central stay in Playa del Carmen with a buzzing atmosphere, this is a good option!

Buena ubicación del hotel, lugar muy agradable

Black mold on the wall below the air conditioner due to leaking water. We tried another room but it smelled terribly of mold. We left and forfeited our prepaid two nights for our own health.

There was no water during the stay.
Impossible for a shower or toilet flush.
Awesome location

No respetaron mi reservación.
Me entregaron una habitación de menor valor.
Avise q llegaria despues de las 12:00am para q me esperaran y no lo hicieron llegue al hotel y no habia nadie para q me entregara la habitación por lo q tuve q pagar otro hotel por esa noche.
Pesimo hotel, no es digno de estar en xpedia.
Las chicas q atienden hicieron su mejor exfuerzo por hacer nuestra estancia placentera pero la verdad todo estuvo mal desde nuestra llegada.
No habia agua caliente, afortunadamente la arreglaron.
Se fue el agua, la luz paso de todo lo peor.
