Staff were friendly and helpful. Operating lifts and opening doors.
Bed was big and comfortable
Great location, great for solo travelers, clean, polite staff
I got stuck in the elevator at one point.
Great facility and excellent location as well as a customer service standards.
The breakfast wasn't what I expected. We paid for it with the understanding that it would be a buffet whereas it was a choice of entree the actual cost of which was way less than what we were charged for the breakfast inclusive rate.
The hotel is clean, quiet, and centrally located and the staff were excellent. While the room was "quiet" the issue was that there was little soundproofing and quite a few ambulance/fire sirens downtown at night which woke me up. The Greek restaurant is excellent (though a bit pricey) and I have to give a shout out for its excellent gym which made it very easy to work out while I was there. I was 3 weeks at the hotel doing a medical course in town.
Their laundry was ridiculously priced (eg $15 for a tshirt) to the point I had to send out my laundry outside (to an excellent little place) to get my stuff cleaned. So, the place could have been better positioned for long term stays.
Everything
Nothing
I arrived in Vancouver from HI with an overnight flight at 7 am and asked if I could check in early bc I had a conference meeting at 1 pm and needed to rest and clean-up. Initially, the reception desk told me no rooms were available, and I was disappointed greatly. So, I went to the restaurant to have breakfast, while also submitting a "complaint" digitally. After I finished breakfast and returned to the reception desk area, I was told a room was ready. I greatly appreciate this accommodation but hope it wasn't bc of my complaint.
See above comment.
