Great location, nice clean rooms, and wonderful staff! Easy access to the cruise terminal and/or Hullo ferry.
The historical aspect provides nice charm.
We loved our stay at The Exchange hotel! It was our first time in Vancouver and we loved the central location. An easy walk to Canada place and Gastown, minutes from Granville Street and even Granville Island. The beds were extremely comfortable (I need to upgrade my own now!), the rooms were really spacious (we were a family of 4), the food and drinks were great and all staff were so friendly and welcoming.
We arrived a little before check-in so had a drink in the bar whilst we waited for our room. When we went back to get our room key we were delighted to be given free breakfast vouchers. Breakfast was delicious and made a great start to the day, we highly recommend. We did not have dinner in the hotel but did enjoy the happy hour in the bar/restaurant , especially the Hugo’s and the vegetarian sharing plates.
We would have no hesitation in recommending or booking again! I just wish Vancouver was closer to home (we are from the UK).
Superb experience from concierge to housekeeping and everyone else in between. Dividend floor was fantastic with extras laid on like cheese and wine, breakfast pastries and granola. Turndown was excellent. Rooms were modern and immaculate. Beds super comfortable. Location couldn’t be handier.
Staying at the Exchange Hotel was a wonderful Vancouver experience. Its history as the former Stock Exchange building gives it so much character, especially the winding arched staircase from the lobby. I half expected it to lead to old vaults, but instead it takes you down to the fitness room. The guest rooms are slightly stark, yet every detail feels environmentally thoughtful. A welcome letter from the hotel manager explained the property’s green initiatives, including honey bees on the roof, which was a very unique touch. Hydra, the upscale Greek restaurant inside the hotel, serves amzing food in a beautifully designed space. There is even a Lindt store in the lobby, which was a dangerous bonus for a chocolate lover. I would have enjoyed a hot tub, but the gorgeous in-room shower helped make up for it. For such a prime Howe Street location in downtown Vancouver, the price felt reasonable. Best of all, the staff were absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended!
Accommodations were very nice. Staff was outstanding and very helpful. Parking was a bit negotiating, but it is downtown so understandable.
Fantastic hotel, our favourite place to stay in Vancouver. The staff were so friendly. WestJet had lost our luggage and they were very helpful trying to contact the airline and help us get it back before we left. The rooms were very comfortable and stylish. Easily fit our family of four. Great location. Would highly recommend.

Really lovely room, spotlessly clean and nice and spacious. Fantastic breakfast and hotel was super easy to get too as just a few minutes walk from the Sky Train stop.
Locatie, kwaliteit ontbijt en restaurant, zeer vriendelijk personeel.
Dat je voor een extra koffie bij het ontbijt moest betalen. En dat voor de prijs die je betaalt. Douche was ook matig.
