Communication. Was not advised before getting to the hotel that there was an additional 100 Yen per night due to be paid at check in. This was the only place in Japan we had to pay this tax.

Average - wouldn’t stay again.
Pros:

Close to a train station. Room size was ok. They did hold our luggage while we visited Disneyland for two days and returned.

Cons:

Did not reply to messages in a timely manner. We messaged regarding confirming forwarding luggage and ended getting the place we were staying to call them to confirm. They did end up replying nearly a week later and after we had checked in and were about to check out the following day. It would have been nice to be told if we wanted fresh towels to put them out for changing. It was only when we had someone waiting next to the door that we read about putting the towels out for swapover.
