La arquitectura y clima tranquilo del hotel:
Todo hermoso
I stayed here with my family while we were visiting emphasis. The location is perfect. The town is very walkable with nice restaurants nearby. The hotel breakfast was excellent. The hotel was clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The pool area outside is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
No issues. I was very satisfied with everything.

Magnificent accommodation in every way

Breakfast was good, but i think they could have introduced a bit more variety.
Quality of the furnishings was excellent and I like the honesty bar as this negated the fact that sometimes there was no-one around and one could still get a drink.
A very quiet and tranquil place - Very relaxing.
The WIFI was a little bit patchy and it was confusing having different ones for Room 10, or the POOL or the Reception. I would have liked a safe in the room. It was a very safe environment, but leaving valuables in a drawer in the room was concerning.
Our Ephesus tour info was not sufficient and we missed the Terraced houses option. You need to ask for it. I felt the guide rushed us a little. The leather fashion show was not needed by us and we would have opted out if we'd know that was part of the itinerary.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is perfect to visit Ephesus, and the pool is great after a long day. Would definitely recommend!
The manager Soner, assistant Alp and all staff we encountered were nothing but cheerful, willing to engage, helpful and courteous, in short brilliant.

I can only describe it as a sanctuary. From the moment you step in, you find yourself in a calm and beautiful place. You hear the birds singing and are greeted by the staff, ready to take your luggage and welcome you home.
The staff are at your disposal 24/7 — friendly, accommodating, and always attentive. The bedrooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable, each offering a stunning view. The breakfasts are made with organic local products and are simply delicious.
We stayed for five days, and the consistency in service and quality never dropped. There was one moment in particular that I personally appreciated. I got a nasty stain on my only pair of trousers during this trip, and I asked the staff if there was anything they could do to remove it. The next morning, my trousers were returned in perfect condition without any stains. Their washing and drying service truly goes above and beyond for their guests.
It feels like staying in a five-star hotel, not only because of its beauty, but also because of the exceptional service and personal touches.
Akanthus is a boutique hotel located within walking distance from the Ephesus Archeological Museum in Selcuk, Turkey. Owned and built by Muharrem –both a hotelier and an arquitect– the hotel is an ode to exquisite taste and love of history, with goddess Artemis at its core. Muharrem’s sense of aesthetics is observed throughout, his meticulous attention to detail carefully carved with cohesion and beauty. From top-quality linens in the bedrooms, gorgeous tile work in the bathrooms, to the delightful garden pool –surrounded by fragrant jasmine trees that hang from the pergola– Akanthus welcomes you like a poem.
Breakfast offers a variety of delicious options, including round-the-clock, freshly baked cake, coffee and tea, at no additional cost. The Turkish style eggs and sausage were my favorite.
I learned that a few archeological remnants of Artemis’ temple were found during the hotel’s construction, which halted the project while city officials made the proper inventory of the items found on site. This is an awe-inspiring component of Akanthus that added a dimension of sacredness and mystery to an already magical experience.
I must add that our stay in Akanthus was worth our trip to Selcuk, in addition to the privilege of visiting the extraordinary ruins of Ephesus.
Everything is within walking distance of the hotel, including small textile shops and restaurants.

Everything!
Nothing!
Everything, the staff were super helpful, thank you Alp for giving us a great welcome. The pool was amazing and refreshing, the complimentary cake was delicious and teas and coffees. The breakfast was incredible and varied. We got our room upgraded and it was heavenly.
That I couldn't stay longer.
From the moment we arrived we were looked after by friendly staff. Our room was spotlessly clean, lovely decor and very comfortable bed. The courtyard breakfast was heavenly. The pool area was very nice only wish it had been warm enough to swim. Short walk to lots of great restaurants.

Everything was outstanding, especially the friendliness and the lovely atmosphere. I loved the interesting and authentic design and the comfort.
Excellent all round.
There was nothing not to like!perfection Strongly recommend.
We stayed four nights in the charming boutique hotel. It was always a pleasure to return to the beautifully decorated courtyard, dining area and quiet room each afternoon after a full day of visiting ancient sites and museums. We were able to easily park our rental car close to the entrance. Our room, #4, had a view over roofs toward the west and sunset--and was a great spot to watch storks flying to and from their nests in town. The minibar was useful to hold cold water and snacks. The buffet breakfast offered a big variety of delicious options, and we could choose how we wanted our eggs. Their advice on where to have dinner and what sites to visit (we went to Ephesus, Priene, Miletus and Magnesia) was really helpful. Thank you for a fantastic stay in Selcuk!
The hotel is very beautiful. Our room was very clean, spacious and well decorated. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Excellent and quiet location.
