the accommodation may need a bit of a renovation, but the bed was comfortable and room and bathroom were clean. The staff were fantastic so welcoming. You can't miss the chicken races it should be on you bucket list

We couldn't stay and cancelled. Unhealthy environment ..no water in room..tap in basin not connected..chewing gum stuck to bed head.

Great stay, great pub
Pros:

Great, friendly pub with good prices and good food in a lovely town.

Cons:

Mattresses a little old and soft. Water smells a bit from the bore. Everything clean, hygienic and tidy however.

Pros:

The only reason to stay at this old and poorly maintained hotel is the daily chicken racing at 5 pm. This was unique and good fun.
The hotel was cheap and for that you got poor shared facilities, We didn’t eat at the pub but the actual room was one of the worst I’ve ever been in.
