Pros:

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 2 nights after we had to reschedule cancelled flights (following all the events of February 28 2026).

Reception staff were really helpful and we were able to organise the room by the hour as well before our flight.

Room was comfortable and we had a view to the runway which was fun.

Super convenient for a day trip to Central London with the Elizabeth Line.

Highly recommended when transiting through Heathrow!

Cons:

As you are a captive audience the prices for the cafe/restaurant/bar downstairs are expensive!

Excellent airport stay
Pros:

2nd time staying here. Super convenient airport location. At check in, Trupti was welcoming, competent and efficient. Each room has individual climate control. Other thoughtful features includes an ironing station, a full length mirror, complementary cosmetics in the bathroom, excellent sound proofing and a very comfortable bed. Also good breakfast (warm and cold).

Cons:

Extremely little to fault. Nitpicking here and didn't even realise this the first time we stayed over, but the room does not have a mini fridge.

Ideal for Heathrow
Pros:

Our flight was cancelled whilst we were staying here, thankfully they have some pretty good internet and we had re-booked a different airline in 25 minutes. Breakfast was pretty good, set us up for a day travelling.
