Great location, clean Euro modern feel. Affordable breakfast option.

Cons:

Parking was ok. Bit pricey particularly for long time Marriott members. Room rates through Marriot also very high, I actually booked through a third party because it was much less.

Stayed in downtown Portland. We didn’t have a rental but was able to walk everywhere. Clean hotel and great staff.

le design moderne de l'hôtel, la lumière avec les baies vitrée, la salle de bain avec des robinets d'un standard simple à l'européenne.

Cons:

Le bruit de fond incessant des équipements de ventilation (ou autres) qui nous ont empêché de dormir. Pas d'accueil à l'arrivée au restaurant pour le petit déjeuner : prise en charge après 10 minutes!

Pros:

Location was perfect - close to downtown but not right in the middle where it would be too busy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was 30th anniversary for my wife and I. Staff made a point of congratulating us and we were given some yummy chocolates and a nice hand signed card. Room as spacious and very clean and comfortable. Given a partial view of the water as promised.

Cons:

Only negative was that one of the two elevators was not working so it could get a little busy with just one working elevator

Would not recommend this hotel due to the parking.
Cons:

The parking garage is a nightmare! It was dark outside and we had great difficulty accessing the entrance then getting back to the hotel because we were unfamiliar with the area.The fact that we had to pay for it on top of our nightly rate was an insult. Other comparable quality hotels in the same location have free parking.

Gabe the GOAT
Pros:

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and beautiful, but the real standout was Gabe, the shuttle driver. First of all, “shuttle” is a strong word because he picks you up in a comfortable black SUV, but Gabe is just great - he grabbed us from the airport after we landed and immediately we got to talking about our plans in Portland and he shared some great recommendations to fill out our list. Every spot we checked out on his recommendation was wonderful, and we had a great conversation filling him in on our weekend when he took us back to the airport. We just really appreciated his kindness and care - it set the tone for a perfect weekend. Thanks, Gabe!
