Pros:

The room was spacious, but there was a lot of noise from nearby construction work, which meant I got very little sleep as the work started early in the morning.
I also didn’t like the fact that a 4 star hotel does not provide daily housekeeping. Considering the price we paid, I believe this should be the minimum expected.
The room could also use better lighting, and the bed was only average in terms of comfort.
Apart from that, everything was fine, and the breakfast was good.

We have stayed here before and will continue to stay at this location when visiting Portland.

Cons:

Parking was not clearly explained when I was given a pass. I was told where to park, not that there would be special directions that needed to be followed on the parking pass. I was only told which garage and to use the pass. We were eventually able to find parking on floor 5 but did not know until checkout that we were supposed to park on floor 6 and scan the badge again.

Like Our Own Personal Concierge
Pros:

Our American Cruise Line cruise utilizes the AC Hotel for their client on-shore accommodations. The hotel is very nice and our room was ideally configured for a couple living out of their suitcases for a couple nights. Special shoutout to Gabe, our shuttle driver who could not have been more helpful. Supremely knowledgeable, Gabe was able to steer us to local attractions based on his personal experience which took the risk out of us picking a place and hoping for the best. Gabe was a real asset.

Pricey for the room with parking lot “city” view
Pros:

Nice staff but room was less than I expected for $600+ per night (3 night stay was $2200).

Could hear talking through walls

Pros:

Do not stay here. There are plenty of better choices in Portland. The bathroom was full of hair. It was too late for us to change rooms.
