Cabañas del Rio

Wir waren 1 Woche in diesem Hotel. Der Besitzer und seine Frau waren sehr nett und freundlich. Wann immer wir Fragen hatten haben sie uns sofort geholfen. Die Angestellten sind auch sehr freundlich.
Das Hotel ist perfekt als Ausgangsort für viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind groß, die Küche absolut sauber und mit sehr vielen Küchenmaschinen ausgestattet. Die Anlage ist sehr sicher, da alles eingezäunt ist. Wir haben sogar eine Nachtwanderung mit dem Besitzer durch seinen sehr schönen Garten gemacht.
Wir können diese Unterkunft definitiv empfehlen.

Leonardo, the manager, is one of the kindest people we've ever met. He went above and beyond to make everything possible that we asked for or wished for. Whether it was letting us leave our luggage at the reception early or arranging an early check-in, he was always incredibly helpful and accommodating.

He also gave us great tips on when and where to go, which helped us make the most of our stay. His frog night walk is truly one of a kind. We saw many different species, and Leonardo told us so much about all the animals we encountered—not just the frogs. It was a fantastic experience.

The breakfast was always delicious. You can choose between a typical Costa Rican breakfast and pancakes, and everything was freshly prepared to order. Leonardo also made an effort to vary the fruits served alongside, which was a lovely touch.

Our room was spacious, clean, and very well equipped. Everything worked perfectly, and housekeeping was always available when needed. The pool was also nice and clean.

When we had a medical emergency during our stay, Leonardo went far beyond what we could have expected. He offered us his help, support, and complete flexibility and made a difficult situation much easier for us.

Overall, we can hardly imagine having had a better stay in La Fortuna. Leonardo's kindness, hospitality, and willingness to help truly made our stay special. We would absolutely recommend this place and would be happy to come back!

Gute Lage, sehr sauber, schöner Pool, Mega nettes Personal.

Es war ein wirklich toller Aufenthalt und ein wahnsinnig toller Service samt umfangreichen Informationen über Natur und Umgebung. Die Nachttour von Leo war total informativ und spannend, das Frühstück war täglich liebevoll hergerichtet mit jeweils einem neuen leckeren Saft.

Es un apartamento con 2 estancias: 1 habitación y el resto con 2 habitaciones abiertas al salón y la cocina. El entorno es precioso, con bonito jardín con acceso al río y piscina con agua caliente.
El personal ha sido muy amable, y Leonardo nos enseñó el maravilloso jardín de ranas donde pudimos ver muchos tipos, entre ellas la blue jeans, la de ojos rojos, rana toro, rana de cristal, la de antifaz, coral…
Tienen también servicio de lavandería en el día!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour, personnel super sympathique, endroit très bien entendu, chambre grande et confortable. Le jardin à l'arrière est magnifique, nous avons apprécié le tour d'observation des grenouilles :-) . La piscine est super notre enfant l'a adorée. Parfait petit déjeuné.

We stayed here 3 nights and loved it. The garden and river behind the property is absolutely magical. Leo and his family are excellent hosts the night walk included with more than 2 nights was a highlight of our stay. Kids loved the pool so much. Night hike was a highlight of our trip. Also loved the luxury of king size beds.

Room was large and comfortable, as were the beds. Breakfast was delicious and staff friendly.

The staff are fantastic. All of them, however, especially the owner. It is clean, comfortable and it is the little, thoughtful touches that make all the difference to the stay. You feel very looked after.

La atención de Leonardo y de Mairene. Han estado pendientes de todo. La caminata nocturna con Leonardo por los jardines es maravillosa. Vimos muchas ranas preciosas. Se nota el cariño que le pone al lugar. La cocina era muy completa, con todos los electrodomésticos. También te hacen la colada por muy buen precio. El apartamento es muy cómodo. Las camas estupendas.
