Dusts all around the room , so I can say for 650 bath I don’t pretend Notting special , just at list to be clean properly and not insects around . This place need a good update
The bedroom was big, the hotel is set in a leafy location and the staff were friendly when I arrived. They have unlimited free tea, coffee and hot Ovaltine at reception. I think they have toast too. The bed was comfortable. The balcony was leafy and big enough.
A big cockroach 🪳 walked across my room as I entered. I asked the staff to remove it. I thought they had but they hadn't. I put a glass over it anyway. I ordered Foodpanda food for dinner to the exact address of the hotel. Foodpanda obviously got the pin 📌 incorrect (it happens), but the owners of the hotel were politely pressurizing me to give the driver an extra 60 baht for going an extra 800 metres more than he expected on his bike. It was weird and awkward. I understand maybe it was cultural, but I've lived in Thailand for 7 years and I felt like this wasn't good customer service, to make me feel pressurized and awkward about something that obviously wasn't my fault. They kept insisting I'd 'got the pin wrong' when it was clear I had entered the exact address. I showed them the address in Foodpanda. Very odd and made my stay feel unpleasant. I'd have easily tipped the driver well, if there hadn't been all this rigmarole. 🙈 Also, the bathroom was not very clean. That's the first time I've seen a dirty hotel sink like that.
Nice and quiet
Hard to find taxi to CBD
Well priced and pleasant little hotel. However it is somewhat tucked away and nowhere near the centre of town. Fine if you have a car of course
