Queens Head Hotel

A wonderful stay in a lovely town. Friendly staff and everything in the room was what we needed. Room good and large. The breakfast was big and hearty and the evening meal was supurb. Best fish & chips for a long time, fish so fresh. The Server was quick and friendly, place quite busy, but he never stopped. Excellent, think he was called Sam? (Ate at 7pm 17/6). We like your (road) cobbles.

Nice clean hotel, unfortunately we had too many stairs to climb, we are both pensioners, not the hotel's fault we should have checked. TV was poor can't understand how they had SKY downstairs but not upstairs. The breakfast lounge and the food on offer was 5*

Nice hotel conveniently located in Kelso’s Town Centre. Quiet and clean. Great on suite bathroom

One night stay and everything was excellent.

The room and bathroom were both very clean. The decor was very muted and beige/ brown. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay again if I needed to be in Kelso.

We had a great stay. Even though we were on the first floor we didn't hear a lot of noise from the bar.
The breakfast was excellent with a great choice. Only downside was the service was slow and the food was Lukewarm when arrived.
But plenty of choice.

Lovely hotel in main area of Kelso and very near abbey. Lovely staff and really good en-suite rooms. Parking wasn’t too easy as it was Easter weekend and very busy

We have stayed quite a few times in this hotel over the past few years . We have always found it comfortable and friendly.

It’s situation is central with easy access to the town and shops.

We’ll be back.

Rooms nice & clean, great breakfast with pleasant helpful staff. Location is perfect for visiting the area, will definitely return.

Room was perfect for the price. Our room was a little stuffy due to no air flow. Room had a small fan that helped a little. Everyone was very friendly and location was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was very nice.

Great place to stay or just have a beer. We only stayed one night, but would have no problem in staying longer next time. Started the next morning with a freshly cooked breakfast which was excellent.

only stayed/booked for 2 nights . apart from room ( 5 ) being a little dark needing lights on all the time, it was a comfortable, pleasant stay. the foodELSO i had was excellent in my opinion and very hot. if in future i need to stay in Kelso , this will be the first place I ring.

Lovely pub with rooms, and I had a super big room with a bath and huge bed! Easy check in, lovely staff. Enjoyed dinner, lots of choice. Again, great choice at breakfast but service at breakfast let it down - young lad who didn’t appear to be interested in the residents at all. I’d not let it put me off staying again.

Lovely small hotel full of character, staff are so friendly, food was very good. The bar has a great atmosphere! Definitely come again!

Great from start to finish, staff very friendly and helpful, room lovely comfortable and clean, the whole experience was 100%, would definitely recommend and would stay there again

Nice, spacious room with everything you could possibly need and more. Great breakfast with lots of nice choices. Conveniently close to the bus stop from Berwick-Upon-Tweed. The only slight downside was that the pub patrons were noisy outside on the Saturday night.
