Cons:

There was no way to turn on the water in the shower without getting soaked with freezing water. I finally had to use a closet hanger to turn it on.

Family is always worth getting to where they are.
Pros:

This was my first Doubletree stay. If breakfast was included in the room price, I did not know, and did not ask. The restaurant on the first floor of the property was excellent for dinner. The lobby of the property was on the second floor.
There were 2 multistory bank buildings. No other downtown businesses except Youngstown State University. It was on winter break. It appears to be the primary business activity in the rust belt-type city.

Cons:

Hallway carpeting is unattractive in daylight, and hideous at night. It appears threadbare. I was traveling to be with family, so seeing them made the hotel of little importance compared to the wonderfulness they exuded.

Lovely spot for a quiet comfortable stay

Beautiful classic building. Loved how they preserved the architectual detail like windows and staircases and just added modern touches. lovely holiday decor .
very clean and central location. Friendly check in people too.
