Staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Place was spotless clean. Beds were very comfy.
Breakfast was continental in the room, which was fine but we were not made aware of this when booking. We paid quite a high price and we had no problem at the time as we thought we would get a cooked breakfast to start our day touring.
The room and bathroom were clean and there was a plentiful supply of continental breakfast food provided in the room.
The main entrance was locked and only after telephoning was told that entry and exit was through a side fire exit door that remained open throughout the stay. The key of the room was to be found in the room door. The bathroom was adjacent to the room on the corridor. The only place to sit whilst eating the continental breakfast provided in the room, is on the bed. Perhaps a small stool/chair would be beneficial.
This hotel was booked for a friend of mine who enjoyed himself at a party and could not drive home. He was rather inebriated and enjoyed himself a little too much.
I called to book a room in the first instance and was told there were no rooms available.
I then went on to the World Wide Web to search through a site called Airbnb and a room in the hotel was available so I booked and paid for it.
When I called the hotel to inform them of this I was told ‘I didn’t want to let that room’! - Bizarre comment from a business, I thought!
Good location. Warm, Comfortable twin room. Lovely warm separate private bathroom.. The lady who cleaned and stocked rooms was so friendly and helpful to us. She looked after us well! Very Pleasant stay.
Only continental breakfast. Ok for us but not if you like cooked breakfast… no dining room. Rooms a little tired but overall still comfortable.
Breakfast was good continental with a good range of options,
Room was clean and spacious
Location of the place was ok just off main road
There is no reception,I had to ask other guests on how can I get help to get to my room.
The furniture was poor and I was not sure about how clean the bedsheets.
I don't recommend this Hotel to anyone.
The housekeeper was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for Elaine. She went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Also having Sky in the bedrooms was a massive plus as we love watching the darts.
Everything was fine and there was nothing to complain about.
The hotel is in a good location. It is clean and comfortable. The owner/staff are very pleasant and can't do enough for you.
It's a continental breakfast which I'm not keen on but understand it's a small hotel with not a lot of staff. Not all rooms are en suite. The facilities were adjacent to my room so it was only a minor inconvenience.
The lack of reception and breakfast in your room is a bit odd. That said, my room was as per the photos, clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the room was perfectly fine. It was all ok for me for one night but not what I would call a leisure hotel.
Very tired looking
The hosts are lovely couldn't do enough for you.
Needs a little tlc the beds a little uncomfortable.
Very friendly staff
Not much going on
Nothing it’s a Sh**hole
