Important information:

The island of Neuwerk can be reached from Cuxhaven either once a day by ferry, or by walking or taking a horse-drawn carriage when the tide is out. It takes about 2 hours to walk and is about a 1-hour carriage ride. No personal cars are allowed on the island.

Wer eine ruhigen, naturnahen und erholsamen Urlaub sucht, ist auf der Insel Neuwerk gut aufgehoben.
Pros:

Es war ein ungewöhnlicher Urlaub, der schon mit der Anreise auf die Insel mit einem Wattwagen begann. Familie Kriegel hatte alles gut geplant, wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und wir fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause. Ob Frühstück, der Snack zwischendurch oder das Abendessen, alles war so, wie man es sich wünscht. Egal worum es ging, die Menschen im Hotel Nige Hus begleiteten unseren wundervollen Urlaub immer mit einem Lächeln. Wir kommen wieder.

Cons:

Ein kleiner Schatten, an dem aber weder Familie Kriegel noch ihre Mitarbeiter etwas ändern können, war das Problem, dass es auf der gesamten Insel keinen Geldautomaten gibt. Aber auch hier zeigte sich wieder die Hilfsbereitschaft der Insulaner, die uns über einen ungewöhnlichen Weg mit Bargeld versorgten.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, große Garten.
Sehr ruhige Lage. Alle Wünsche wurden freundlich erfüllt.
Fahrräder zu leihen war top, denn nach der langen Wattwanderung erleichterte es uns sehr, die Insel zu erkunden.

Pros:

Das Familienzimmer hat uns am Besten gefallen. 2 Duschen im Bad, WC extra, die bequemen Schlafkojen, Kinderbetten sind vorhanden,
der Wellnessbereich war super, gepflegter Garten, Fahrräder sind im Preis inbegriffen , sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet.
Schöne kleine Insel um für ein paar Tage mal zu entspannen.
