Hotel Temple View Bagan

First nite face us at gr fl, 2nd n 3rd nite were given 1st fl with temple view but in the evening, there was a little mouse running thru my rm into the bathroom. Water smelled bad, i hv to use mineral water to brush teeth. Breakfast was the worst, little selection. Dining room dirty, kitchen dirty.

Hotel is located at the very start of new Bagan so you will have to walk 10-15 min to town centre. Alternatively you might rent e-scooter which is a must when visiting Bagan. We stayed in room facing temple, which had an amazing view.
Breakfast was great, with decent selection.
Staff were helpful during our stay and offered a free ride to the airport on our check out.
It is about half an hour drive with e-scooter to the main temples. But you have lots of other ones beside hotel
The only downside is firm bed and urine smell from bathroom, but these are livable and didn't affect our stay.
I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Bagan

침대 푹신하고 따뜻한물 잘 나오고 전체적으로 크게 불편한점은 없었습니다. 조식은 크게 맛있지는 않으나 조식뷰가 워낙 좋아서 기분좋게 아침을 시작 할 수 있었어요~

Room was OK it has a nice view but AC didn’t work properly Breakfast area is nice because Of the view but the breakfast itself is not that great Staff is really friendly

Its good hotel, but the bathrooms and the toiletity was dirty, air con were not cold and we took the black dirty filter to clean to make air con cooler. They should clean air con filter regulary. Breakfast is not good, less choices.

Nice location at the New Bagan area. Enjoy seeing the ballons from the breakfast tables.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to the temples and the view is amazing.
Breakfast was good, on the rooftop with nice view of the nearby temples.

Liked that the room had a balcony, even if the view was not overlooking the temples.
We didn't like that the mattress was shorter than the frame of the bed and the socket didn't worked with European adaptor, it was too lose. The bathroom could be cleaner.

If you like to stay with cockroaches, here is the place to be.
The bathroom stinks with fungi and the toilet was leaking all night very loudly.
Even worse, i came across hairs in two different breakfast dishes.. And coffee cup was not cleaned enough, so red lipstick marks was on the cup. Disgusting..

After unpleasant stay at his hotel, i realized there are more than 2200+ temples in Bagan. Accordingly tons of hotels have temple views besides this one.

I highly suggest to choose another. I simply do not understand how this hotel had got so many good reviews so far.

Overall a good stay. The room was a decent size and clean, but let down by dark marks all over the wall (presumably by people touching the magnolia walls having been out in dusty Bagan) which made it look grubby. The lighting in the room was good. The bathroom light was somewhat dimmer with no light in the shower area. My toilet was a bit faulty so i sometimes had to fish around in the cistern in order to get it to fill. The balcony overlooking the temples gave a great view, but unfortunately the lock on the double doors was a bit dodgy and the seats had a bar at mid-back level making it an uncomfortable place to sit. The view from the roof terrace was nice, breakfast was reasonable, and the hotel can arrange bikes and ebikes.

I have never met so adorable staff members! Honestly, the people were the reason why we had such a wonderful stay although the facilities might not be the best. We could leave our luggage there the whole day and got water for free. They also took care of our shuttle pickup and e-bike rental. I would choose to go there again!

Hôtel très bien placé au départ des chemins qui mènent à toutes les stoupas....idéal à faire en e bike que vous pouvez louer juste à côté de l hôtel pour 7000 kyat La journée
Petit déjeuner parfait sur une grande terrasse avec vue sur les premières stupas .....et survolée au petit matin par les montgolfières....
Proximité des restaurants et du centre même à pieds

Godt køb til pengene. Men de glemte at bestille taxa og lovede os en madpakke tidligt om morgenen. Da vi skulle afsted til lufthavnen.
Vi stod selv tidligt op - hotellet vækkede os ikke og da vi stod i receptionen kunne de ikke finde vores bestilling.
Øv - men vi fik en taxa uden morgenmad men skidt vi nåede flyet som var det vigtigste.
Ingen god solopgu eller nedgang fra hotellet. Og deres mad er ikke til at råbe hjem om. Vi spiste et andet sted.

Close to some of the off the track temples. Bit far from centre of town, but a manageble walk. Facilities clean and comfortable

The location of the Temple View Hotel is really great. Even though it is located on the outskirts of New Bagan, it is a great starting point for renting an e-bike and exploring the temples. And if you don't feel like getting up early for sunrise viewing, you can easily do that from the rooftop - or even your balcony... Additionally the rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is always helpful.

Great hotel on outskirts of town. We had an excellent view of the temples across the road. Room was clean & spacious. Bathroom was good however the beds were quite hard. Fridge & Tea/ coffee facilities and free water. Breakfast included was very good with variety of food and the staff arranged a take away breakfast for us when we had a early flight which was lovely of them. We ate at hotel rooftop restaurant at night with beautiful view. Food was good- have walk up 3 flights of stairs tho- with no elevator. Ok for most but my mum has a bad knee so was a bit awkward for her. Hotel staff very nice & helpful. Always opening the door for us. We hired a private driver for $25 USD all day from 7am til 6pm he spoke some English and took us everywhere we wanted to go. Other options include the open bus for $10 USD or you can hire a scooter next door for the whole day 6-9 for US $3. Take your first left out of the hotel and you will find a fantastic resturant with puppet show and traditional dancing with huge variety of food and good prices. When you arrive either by plane or boat just haggle with your driver for a good price to the hotel we paid 15,000 from the boat and only 5000 to airport. You should b able to get them down to 10,000 if your good at bartering. 10 minute walk to morning markets with lots of fruit,veggies& meat. There are a couple of small supermarkets near the markets where you can get your necessities. We would stay again.

A wonderful hotel. Very clean and next door is a really nice restaurant and a scooter rental shop. Very comfortable. The only minus point is that the staff were not super professional and there was as language barrier.

Really kind and friendly staffs. Everything was perfect.
