Pros:

Spacious room, loved having the kitchenette which was well stocked, and the bathroom was quite nice and clean as well (with fluffy towels!). Staff were attentive, the beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was tasty with nice choices (except the French Toast sticks -- make a waffle instead!). It was easy to sign into Netflix and Amazon to watch a movie. We didn't go to the pool so no comment on that. Location was good for driving to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and Pikes Peak. We would come back to this hotel and highly recommend it!

Cons:

On arrival about 1pm, too soon to check in, the person at reception assigned our room and said we had a choice of kitchenette room on the first or fourth floors -- first floor facing the highway or fourth floor facing a retaining wall, and no mountain views. Actually, our 4th floor room we checked into later that day was at least 2 stories above the retaining wall and we could see the mountains above the hill and rooftops. Thank goodness we made that choice. I wonder who is doing the training and whether they have actually been in the rooms!

Also, we had a chipped glass and a few dishes weren't properly cleaned, but housekeeping replaced those within 10 minutes of my call, with many apologies. Everything else was spotless, so the excellent customer service overall made up for that blip.

Pros:

The facilities, location, and staff were friendly. They charged me for two rooms at different prices. My daughter also got charged not honoring our booking. Com fee. I have sent two messages requesting a refund and have not received a response. They claimed they could not find our reservation but I had a confirmation number.
