The hotel has been our choice for several years now for a relaxing short break, but the food ???

Location, with balcony, efficient and friendly staff

Cons:

Dinner: Disappointing. Both of our hot(?) dinners were merely warm. The curry was very disappointing: not very spicy, lamb chewy. Both waiter and receptionis said sorry, but bill for was for full amount. Disappointing.
Breakfast: Both and tea were stale - for an 8 am breakfast? Again, only one breakfast, my roll of egg and haggis, was hot.

great hotel breakfast experience needs improving
Pros:

dinner was great, staff friendly and accommodating

Cons:

breakfast wasn't great, tea, coffee and milk lying out since the start of service so tea was Stewed and milk was not chilled

A very good hotel in lovely location
Pros:

Great location on North Ayrshire coastline. Hotel seems to have been recently refurbished . Bedroom was a very good size and well equipped.
Staff very efficient and approachable. Breakfast excellent and the restaurant had very good quality food.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Room was lovely and bed large and comfy. Breakfast was very nice with good choices. Ate in restaurant which was nice and food was very good.

Cons:

Person checking us in was a bit pre occupied with people coming and going. He left us in the middle of check-in to show someone to the restaurant. Didn't say when breakfast was.
Our room was at the front of the hotel on a very busy road and a bit noisy. We were given ear plugs in the room.

exactly what I was looking for, peaceful and friendly place and people
Pros:

Everything was excellent but I thought all the staff were exceptional. A very friendly and laid back environment. I would highly recommend
