Great location . Will definitely stay again
Pros:

The location and Sasha the supervisor who was extremely helpful and informative . Excellent showers and very comfortable beds .

Cons:

The balcony room’s glass windows were not double glazed. It was very noisy at night and in the morning when cars or garbage trucks drove past .

Very nice hotel but my room was a little disappointing

Cons:

Window i. room was small and room dark and a little narrow. My friend was also staying and had booked the same room type but hers was nicer - it looked out into the square in front of the hotel (mine didn’t) and she had a nice user room and it was lighter as window was bigger

Very pleasant hotel in a great location
Pros:

Great location in downtown Montreal.

Cons:

Could do with some suitcase stands.
Housekeeping did come in at about 8.00 with no warning and bathroom supplies were a bit random.

Fantastic location, excellent staff, and a beautiful historic hotel.
Pros:

Hotel Birks is a beautiful historic boutique hotel in a fantastic location. We could easily walk to Old Montreal and explore the rest of downtown, and the hotel is close to excellent shopping and the subway. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was huge, and the shower pressure was excellent (that’s something I always look for but often don’t get in even the nicest hotels).

The staff was friendly and attentive without being obtrusive, and we enjoyed spending time at the bar on two evenings. (The drinks are pricey, but that felt reasonable for such a lovely property.)

I found a great rate through Booking.com and thought the hotel offered very good value.

Cons:

We had a very positive stay and no real complaints. We’ll be return customers!
