The bed was most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. The robes were also so comfortable--my sister who traveled with me remarked that she had never worn such a comfortable robe in a hotel. We also enjoyed our interactions with the front desk agent who both checked us in and functioned as a concierge, answering our questions about visiting speakeasies in the city. She was fantastic!
From the moment you walk into Hotel Birka you enter a magical place where the atmosphere and decor are stunning and are matched by the front desk service which is exemplary.
Our room was beautifully and comfortably furnished with so many lovely, period features combined with modern technology of the spacious bathroom.
The team even created a special moment for us for our anniversary as we entered the room and the surprise was both touching and warmly welcome.
Hotel Birk is perfectly placed to explore stunning Montreal and we were not far from the train station to visit Quebec and return to Toronto.
