The place - with its view to the Pacific Coast - is magical.
The sunsets are very unique and colorful.
The Yoga House was incredible - a place to relax and reconnect for sure!
La disposición y calidad humana del personal y las instalaciones
Me falto TV en la habitación para ver películas
Unheimliches design, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit
Man muss ziemlich weit fahren, da es sehr abgelegen liegt

Nada me disgustó
The staff were really nice and friendly. Massages out of this world (Erika was incredible!). The place and nature are beautiful, and the view! The trekking path, the yoga studio… it is a place to relax and disconnect!
Rooms lack privacy (they are too open to the front). Food can be improved for the price it have. “none -nature” noises: A/C room machines, in-room refrigerator (I disconnected it), loud kitchen noises…
Vanaf de Careterra Interamericana I via Miramar.
Alles was OK. Geen bijzondere opmerkingen.
AMAZINGLY customer service oriented. Bereníce, staff, SO attentive, kind & thorough. Prior to arrival, resort administrator engaged to make personalized arrangements. Wifi steady & stable. Jacuzzi a plus. For arrival, standard vehicle OK (albeit slow w potholes with some portions being unpaved roads), but 4x4 might be helpful. Highly recommend to get away from it all to chill. I travel a lot, and I would go back.
The pool, attentive hostess staff-Bernicia, grounds keeper- Hilbert, transportation contractor- Roger and Martin, food mostly, yoga building, scenery.
Massage requests are contingent upon the availability of a contracted local masseuse. Massage was very relaxing!
My room was not freshened up prior to my arrival. Dead bugs had to be cleaned up from floor and walls. Removed 2 baby geckos above my head before falling asleep the 1st night. Walkways and retainer walls need power washing. Yoga room, needs dust mopping before guest arrive and yoga blankets needs cleaning and proper storage to maintain freshness for guest. Lounge chairs the same. Areas that are sheltered from the weather needs routine treatment for crawling bugs, ants, spiders and flying insects with a non toxic deterrent. This information was shared with the mod. Know before you go..how far away activities are. Transportation can be costly! Also, after 1 glass of my favorite wine, they ran out and did not accommodate with purchasing more for their stock. The weather prevented me from fully enjoying the pool, so be mindful of the temperature and time if year. Lastly, the jacuzzi needs upgrading (inoperable for 80% of my time there)and the sauna should be checked for geckos before inviting guest to enter for a relaxing experience. The chefs were "ghosts". Never came out to introduce themselves even after I requested to meet them. Communication was challenging with staff, a lot of translation app and google use.
Nice remote location, if you are looking for amazing views and away from people this is the place for you. Good facilities and friendly staff.
Staff didnt speak english, so make sure you have translator software.
Hotel double charged my credit card and then said that it didn’t go through. I paid cash and left a nice tip but wasn’t provided with a receipt. I paid three times for my two night stay and was not able to rectify with my credit card company because the receipt wasn’t provided in time to dispute the charges. When asked if the hotel could reimburse me directly they did not answer. I paid $564 for a stay that should have cost $188. I would have hoped that this hotel would have arranged reimbursement.
Beautiful location, good facilities and very warm staff and owner.
The room air conditioner was loud so our night sleep was choppy. Breakfast was amazing, snacks and appetizers were fantastic but dinner was ok.
This is a very beautiful place to stay, but because we came at the end of the rainy season it was very under-staffed. I understand that it's not worth it to pay lots of staff when there aren't many people staying, but we missed out on basic things like having our rooms cleaned and towels replaced, which wasn't great given the price we paid. We were required to tell staff every day in advance if we wanted to have lunch and dinner so that they could decide whether the chef needed to come in, which meant we weren't able to be very spontaneous with our plans. The property is quite far from most things (about half an hour to 40 minutes from San Ramon in the car), so wouldn't recommend it without a car. Overall an okay experience and a lovely place, but not great for the rainy season.
The hotel staff is very friendly and super attentive, with incredible hospitality and attention, super delicious food, and good prices
They could have more variety in drinks or wines
