complaint raised both during and after visit and owner continually failed to accept failings and accused me of downgrading to receive money back. I paid almost $8k and the room was dirty, no natural light, bedding was stained TV not showing local channels and lose wires hanging. Carpet had replaced wooden floor which is not the description on the Booking.com website. There are 5 bins outside the window which cannot be closed as it is locked in position. The windows have not been cleaned in several weeks and bad smell of petrol? The accommodation is not worth the money paid and the owner does not recognise these issues but he becomes very personable and implies the customer is wrong at all times. He also took a deposit as he mentioned I paid by Credit Card - I paid in full by DD several months prior to travelling direct payment in full?
My complaint with Booking.com remains open.

Apartment was great & had all the amenities , the only downside was the traffic noise throughout the night which impacted sleep.
Better soundproofing required fir a full 5 stars

Room was much worse than expected. Smaller than expected, massive water stain on the ceiling, broken drywall, tiny and uncomfortable beds and then they had some hidden charges at the end.
Nice apartment in a convenient location. But parking was a pain.
I really enjoyed my stay here. Eli was very communicative and helpful! I plan to stay here again next time I am in Bondi.
This was a great option for our 3 night stay in Bondi. Just be aware that there is no lift and the apartment is on the first floor. Eli was there to help us with our luggage though when we checked in. A wonderful location for public transport options with the bus just steps from the building.
Everything I needed was in the property and it was an excellent location. Eli was great at communication and very helpful.

The apartment was really dirty. The hallway smells bad. We found a cockroach behind the bathroom door. For you to take a shower you will have to flood the bathroom. First time ever that I needed to tap my card for a $280 deposit even after having already paid for the accommodation. Really expensive for what we got.

Our studio was right next to the entrance of the building. You could hear every word of people coming in and out. Very loud, especially at night when you are trying to sleep. Fridge very noisy at night as well. Bedding and pillows very thin.
Great property manager and location. The apartment is set out well but a couple of things really let it down. The light between the blinds is very annoying. However the worst was the bathroom, the toilet is right up against the shower so you cant sit straight on the toilet. Also a tiny towel rail on a huge wall! Makes no sense, can't dry your towels
Ther was moldue on the roof in multiple areas and the filters in air conditioner wasn't cleaned and the mattress was not very comfortable
I chose Bondi Suites because of its location and the photo on booking.com. The reality is a little different. Met by the manager Eli who showed us through some fire doors, down a flight of stairs and into a basement, right next to the bins and the water butts and a very unsightly drain. Not what we expected. It rained on our last night. The drops of rain on a perspex roof just outside our door were so loud we could not sleep all night. It was not pleasant. When I complained to Eli, first he feigned he hadn't seen the emails, then he said he had never had a complaint like that before ( there is always a first time ) and finally he said he was only the manager so could not decide on a requested reimbursement. I was polite and fed back nicely but he was nothing short of evasive and dismissive. Sometimes it is not only about making money from a crappy property but also admitting that you did not provide the best experience to your customers. Sadly he was not even able to do that.
