Pros:

L hôtel est plutôt bien, la piscine et le jardin sont agréables, les lits suspendus semi extérieurs sont assez spéciaux pour la première nuit mais on s habitue...très bien pour le prix et très calme

- Sehr leckeres (rein vegetarisches) Essen
- Bequeme Betten
- Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites und aufmerksames Personal
- Gepflegte Umgebung/Gärten, frische Kokosnüsse (von den Palmen vor Ort)

Cons:

- Stellenweise renovationsbedürftig, z.B. Küche in "unserer" Villa
- Stark chlorierter Pool: Abtauchen ohne Taucher/Schwimmbrille nicht zu empfehlen!
- Leicht schimmlige Bettkissen (aufgrund des feuchten Klimas)
- Die Zimmer sind voller Ritzen, d.h. die Klimaanlage verschwendet extrem viel Energie.

I had an excellent stay at Captain Coconuts in Gili Air. The hotel truly feels like an oasis of tranquility. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the entire team is incredibly kind and gentle.

The pool at the center of the property is idyllic — swimming there while frangipani flowers fall from the surrounding trees feels almost magical. It’s the kind of place where it’s very easy to slow down and fully relax.

What really shows the level of hospitality, though, is how they handle things when something goes wrong. After checking out and traveling to another island, I realized I had left behind my necessaire with all my makeup, creams, and jewelry. The team immediately stepped in to help. They quickly organized for it to be sent on the next boat, and only a few hours after realizing what had happened I had everything back with me.

A special thanks to the crew who made this possible — Rizal from housekeeping who retrieved my bag, and Indra from reception who carefully packaged it and sent it over. It was truly a team effort between housekeeping and the front of house, and I’m very grateful.

A beautiful place with genuine care and hospitality. I would happily stay here again.

Ich bin über Jahre sehr zufrieden gewesen .
Habe aber leider diese mal ein paar negative Erfahrungen gegenüber einer jungen mitreisenden miterleben müssen.
Und werde in Zukunft gerade jüngeren Frauen von der Unterkunft abraten.

Die Lage war in Ordnung.

Cons:

Das Personal hat ungefragt die Telefonnummer einer jungen Frau an einen fremden Mann weitergegeben . Das hat mich sehr beneidet und als ich die jungen Frau darin unterstützt habe sich zu beschweren habe sie es bestätigt die Nummer rausgegeben zu haben waren danach aber sehr ungehalten .
Ich bin viele Jahre sehr gerne her gekommen werde aber noch der Erfahrung nicht wieder kommen .
Und werde alleinerziehende Frauen in Zukunft davon Abraten.
